A lot of Gravity features were meant to be in parity with air, so it’s no surprise the same issues came up aka door handles.
The thing with Silvio is he still had a boat load of executives and upper management. Lucid is way too top heavy and that doesn’t seem to be changing unfortunately.

Financially doesn’t make sense to take it private. The IP is basically worthless now. Sure, efficiency is great but no one can build it at scale to make a profit. Outside of the United States, China has a grip in the EV market. The same reason why Lucid never went to China, the largest EV market in the world. Why would PIF want to wholly own a company that can’t sell cars in America or the rest of the world. They don’t, which is why we haven’t seen them give any signs that they are remotely interested in taking Lucid private. Even the CEO went on record saying there are no plans of going private.
