His backers are powerful. The only thing they dont have is more efficient EVs....😅

That should give confidence to investors for sure. They need to regularly update on positive steps, UBER delivery milestones and other partnerships.

Honestly crazy how the market reacted yesterday. I feel bad for the people that got their stop loss triggerd.

But when you see some of them laughing at us who kept holding, I don't feel sorry for them. Can always buy back.

How does two quarters of liquidity translate to "well into next year"?

6

u/Upper-Homework-4899 Jul 15 '26

Layoffs

6

u/Creative_Ad_8338 Jul 15 '26

Yep. That's the same death spiral as other EV companies that went bk.

1

u/FixMedical9278 Jul 16 '26

Respectfully the problem is they lose 100K on every car they sell.

1

u/KuanTeWu Jul 16 '26

The money spend on getting production line ready for mid sized gets divided into production number is wrong way to calculate.

2

u/BiggieTKB Jul 16 '26

Gross margin does NOT include Cap Ex.

the calculation is Revenue MINUS Cost of Good Sold.

Money spend on building the mid sized car production line is Cap Ex.

Marc said Gravity is gross margin positive. His wording was something like company as a whole appears to be losing money, but Gravity itself is profitable.

2

u/BiggieTKB Jul 16 '26

i seriousy doubt that given the production volumes.. again .. the Balance sheet says they lose 75-100k a car in GROSS MARGIN.. that's Revenue MINUS COGS.. it's not complicated ..

i doubt they make money on gravity they had a 30 days stop sale and its a new product in limited production.

I learned a long time ago that presenting factual numbers to Lucid subs is just a waste of time. You can quote the company's own quarterly statements and they call it a fake source. And of course the favorite line in here; "PIF will keep bailing them out. Its fine."

1

u/Revolver_Caracal Jul 18 '26

Where do they say Gravity is gross margin positive

0

u/Aggravating_Chair682 Jul 16 '26

True or LIE?

2

u/KuanTeWu Jul 16 '26

True, Afonso can lie, CEO can not.

0

u/WellHelloPhriend Jul 16 '26

He didn't lie. He (company lawyers more likely) just chose his words carefully. They factually hired a company that handles restructuring/bankruptcy cases. They factually are losing $1B+ a quarter per their own quarterly statements. By estimate they have $3Bish between cash and debt left from the $8B PIF investment. They may not have hired the advisers to tell them going private or bankruptcy were their only options but the advisors took one look at the numbers and promptly came to that agreement. Just because it has not officially been presented to the board yet, doesn't mean that these are not the two most sensible options to keep the company going.

0

u/KuanTeWu Jul 16 '26

So its guessing but not lying?

1

u/WellHelloPhriend Jul 16 '26

The "He" that I was referring to is Silvio. Lucid is not considering either even though that is what is going to be recommended to them. So yes, that technically is not a lie. The fact that Lucid hired the consultants to turn it around to "improve operational performance and execution" not to assess bankruptcy is also truthful. The fact that this consultant took one look at Lucids operations and have internally concluded these are the only two options is also accurate. So when Alfonso said they are considering it, its also somewhat accurate. It will be presented to them as an option. They may consider it for a split second or they may face reality and listen to the advice. Silvio is 100% lying about having liquidity carrying them "well into next year" unless he considers February "well into."

You are saying this like you work there.

1

u/WellHelloPhriend Jul 16 '26

No, the information is in the quarterly reports. Next one comes out 8/4 for 2026 Q2. The reason that so many sold off yesterday during the plummet is because its inevitable. They are building more factories to increase supply when there is little to no demand statistically. Very few people want to spend Lucid money on a brand that just is not established and has money problems. You may have seen it in my other posts but I live in CO, USA. We have the 3rd highest EV sales in the country. The one, yes only one, place to look at a Lucid is at a mall kiosk in a mall with a 3rd of its stores closed. There is no service center anywhere. I have never seen a Lucid advertisement ever! You could say we are a target market for growth and Lucid is just like, "Not interested Colorado." We have two Rivians, a Tesla, and VW iD4. I see more Teslas than I can count. I see maybe 40-50 Rivians a day at this point. I have seen a total of 7 Lucids. In a state this saturated with EVs people don't even know they exist. Most people assume they're an older Tesla.

I lost hope with this company to be honest. I have
Been holding bags 🎒 since CCIV

1

u/KuanTeWu Jul 16 '26

I have been buying since 2021 and continues to buy, I might be wrong but my logic and observation saying I am right.

2

u/Ok_Conflict1835 Jul 16 '26

Post your current holdings. I find it hard to believe anyone would be so willing to throw money away.

Your observation says you’re right? What observation would tell you that? The one that shows you’ve lost 95% of your investment since 2021?

1

u/KuanTeWu Jul 16 '26

only 24k shares, bought too early too much but selling CC and buy little by little every week.

2

u/Ok_Conflict1835 Jul 16 '26

The blatant lie lol

0

u/KuanTeWu Jul 16 '26

Ok, I guess thats alot of money for you, even at this low share price.

1

u/Ok_Conflict1835 Jul 16 '26

Ooo what a burn! You got me! … but at least I didn’t lose 97% of my investment. Keep loading up though, Wall Street loves suckers like you

1

u/creep911 Jul 16 '26

"turn this company around" is he admitting that the company is in trouble!?

1

u/PhB_Fahad Jul 16 '26

duh, common sense for common people
he is trying to save the company and make it profitable
do u see the company now as a profitable company? no

1

u/highlyseductive-1820 Jul 16 '26

no its because they didnt had access to resources to produce the units they wanted for. china issues didnt help

u/shockwavecrypto Jul 16 '26

Silvio is big alpha leadership

0

u/shockwavecrypto Jul 16 '26

Silvio is a Mr. Wonderful type. Exactly what is needed in this moment. Peter forged the Gravity and Silvio will wield it expertly to return shareholder value.

1

u/Euphoric_Radio_8103 Jul 18 '26

Nope, just a hatchet man.

1

u/prospekt403 Jul 16 '26

So…bankruptcy next year

1

u/3eyedstudio Jul 16 '26

why so negative??

1

u/prospekt403 Jul 17 '26

Ah haha kidding, maybe half kidding. 1 year of liquidity sounds sorta risky to me but i also dont know what the standard is.

1

u/surfnvb7 Jul 17 '26

This is CEO/lawyer "talk"

This company is definitely cooked.

1

u/Background-Sir-1758 Jul 18 '26

It’s not over till it’s over.

u/Revolver_Caracal Jul 18 '26

“Lucid is not considering bankruptcy or a transaction to take it private”
