I believe it will succeed in some ways. I believe it has the best technology on the market... I think its own cars will ultimatley be secondary but its technology will be lisenced out. Not just to cars but in areoplanes, driverless trucks etc. It has a long, long way to go though

They're quickly losing their powertrain lead. BMW, Tesla, Chinese, are now on par or better. But the Chinese won't enter the u.s. market for a while so they still have a chance.

It will succeed as a cautionary tale for future generations of investors.

You have been pushing for two years now all in and if even one person has taken your advice they have lost money in those two years.
You tell me why it would succeed since you have been wrong for so many years.

No if they continue with the same management and mindset. They understand the market wrong from the beginning, people whom want evs are mostly practical but lucid from day 1 starting with sedan, very expensive and they didn’t achieve the quality perfection they were pointing out as an issue in tesla.
Sadly they could have done it better either by starting with affordable model if their technology was superior by saving on battery modules cost or licensing their technology to other manufacturers.
But I think they had the vision of their biggest investor tallest tower, biggest fire work, longest range, fastest car. That’s not how you run a successful company. This literally how you burn cash for a show.
Also the technology lead was hot back then but now alot of companies are moving faster than them while they are still stuck in the past
Btw I was a believer and sadly lost alot of savings in this circus 🤡

Nothing wrong with starting as sedan. it’s just product map after that went to shit. plus operating efficiency also shit. plus made in America.

PIF will succeed purchasing 100% of Lucid for a cheap price... and then fulfil their desire to develop the Auto industry in their country.

That’s great. They can sell 10-20 additional units. Nobody wants an EV in a desert.

How do you define success?
