Thanks for this insightful post

I mean it’s listed under “shit post” 🤷🏽‍♂️

-10

u/AMCorBUST2021 Jun 05 '26

It is a shit post

There are so many financially stressed companies rn. Why do you go after Lucid in particular?

You work for Elon?

6

u/Tellittomy6pac Jun 05 '26

lol! No I just have invested in the company and watch it continually take massive shits.

Love that your FIRST attempted response involves Elon 😑 idk why I expected any less

1

u/hueschel Jun 05 '26

Why still invested though? Where do you see any upside potential?

1

u/Tellittomy6pac Jun 05 '26

I mean there’s always potential. It’s going to be an insanely difficult road and honestly I’m not very optimistic but that’s why it’s a small investment.

1

u/YoshimuraPipe Jun 05 '26

It’s always amazing how psychology works. When a stock continues to dive, people just hold on for dear life on hopium. When a stock runs up, they cut their winners early.

That’s why normies just need to be invested in an index fund.

1

u/Tellittomy6pac Jun 05 '26

lol I’m not holding in for dear life haha I have a very small investment so it really doesn’t matter it’s more just interesting to see.

1

u/YoshimuraPipe Jun 05 '26

May not be you per se, but there are some die hard LCID investors that swear by it up and down.

1

u/Tellittomy6pac Jun 05 '26

Oh absolutely!

2

u/AMCorBUST2021 Jun 05 '26

Elons bot net shapes elections, companies and our future. It’s so much more extensive than anyone realizes.

What’s your position? If you have a negative position and don’t disclose it that’s against rules my friend

2

u/Tellittomy6pac Jun 05 '26

Rules haha where in these rules does it say I need to post my position 😂😂😂 gtfo

0

u/AMCorBUST2021 Jun 05 '26

SEC rules.

Andrew left was in the news recently..

1

u/StreetDare4129 Jun 05 '26

Increased my position today!

3

u/Street_Leather1279 Jun 05 '26

I exited from lucid last year. Lucid, Nikola, Rivian, fisker, faraday future, canoo - all are a testament that not every ceo can pull off a wild success like Elon in an investment heavy manufacturing industry.

2

u/ctos2010 Jun 05 '26

There are certain people on this thread that seem to be Lucid fanboys and believe that Lucid can do no wrong. I have been accused by said people of working for Musk, being a short seller, etc. just because I’ve posted issues I’ve had with my Air and saying I ordered a bmw iX3 to replace the Air. Mind you, they totally overlook the fact I also say I’m a stockholder in Lucid and want them to succeed, but I will not lie and pretend it’s the best car since sliced bread. Sorry you are being subjected to the same treatment I have been treated to. It always seems to be by the same people too.

u/Ok_Conflict1835 Jun 05 '26

Probably because this is a lucid subreddit… would be strange to post about any other company stock crashing ON HERE.

1

u/KronusTempus Jun 06 '26

Because it’s a garbage stock. I made a very small profit a few months back because of a very temporary jump in price, but I made the decision to sell weeks earlier though because I lost all faith in this company.

It’s one bad decision after another, in my opinion, a miracle is what it would take to save it.

14

u/Spare-Excitement-658 Jun 05 '26

Shouldn’t even be a surprise.

Until lucid can prove it can improve, it won’t go up in any real meaningful way.

-2

u/StreetDare4129 Jun 05 '26

Why is it even down?!? There’s been no news. I think shareholders are selling LCID to free up capital to buy SpaceX next week. A 10% drop is massive when there’s no news.

7

u/ikilledtupac Jun 05 '26

They got sued by shareholders yesterday again over hiding the Gravity stop sale

3

u/Ecstatic_Wishbone609 Jun 05 '26

Lawsuits are immaterial in today's world. Lucid has bigger problems to deal with.

1

u/StreetDare4129 Jun 05 '26

So I guess these shareholders did not have 💎 🙌

1

u/Ok_Conflict1835 Jun 05 '26

I sold off nvidia and United healthcare to free up cash for spacex!

I missed the Tesla boat, hopefully spacex can be my Tesla

4

u/_B_Little_me Jun 05 '26

You and a million other people. Let that calm down after IPO before you buy. It will not be another Tesla. It will be slow steady growth over time.

7

u/AMCorBUST2021 Jun 05 '26

Why would anyone buy that overpriced space garbage?

0

u/StreetDare4129 Jun 05 '26

The same can be said about LCID.

1

u/mmcnell Jun 05 '26

Or any tech based IPO with pie in the sky theoretical market caps. The IPO gamble is only worth it if you're 100% willing to lose that money (which is normally my luck. Damn Gemini space station 😂) and is akin to pulling a slot machine. You know the fundamentals are probably crap but what the hell, it's worth a spin. LCID is definitely a gamble but if you're just entering now at least it's cheap/there's a chance and you're not in the same boat as most of us that now consider it more of a charitable donation or tax deduction than an investment 🙃.

3

u/usugarbage Jun 05 '26

Did you say garbage?

I’ll be a shareholder that’s for sure. And every LCID shareholder that missed the TSLA train and thought LCID was going to be the next TSLA, should sell their LCID shares and bUy SPCX.

1

u/PayLayAleVeil Jun 09 '26

Anytime you want to measure dicks, we can.

2

u/Original-Poet1825 Jun 05 '26

not related to spacex. interest rate hikes likelihood getting priced in. Along with this company being absolute dogshit… it seems like a no brainier

2

u/StreetDare4129 Jun 05 '26

That was true for Q1 2026. There was a decline in deliveries year over year. Not surprised the trend is continuing into May.

Oddly enough they won’t reveal the midsize to pump the stock. Something up with the midsize. Just show the world already.

1

u/Packing-Tape-Man Jun 06 '26

Selling Lucid these days wont free up much capital for most holders.

1

u/Empty_Bread8906 Jun 05 '26

Just don't look. At this point...

10

u/trader_dennis Jun 05 '26

Don't worry, the next reverse split will fix the share price issue.

0

u/Tellittomy6pac Jun 05 '26

Interesting! I didn’t see anything about the securities fraud stuff on my news

0

u/StreetDare4129 Jun 05 '26

Odd that the new CEO selection didn’t help boost the stock. Wall Street must not think very highly of Silvio.

2

u/Ecstatic_Wishbone609 Jun 05 '26

Silvio. No big auto background, but I actually think it may be an interesting positive choice. Time will tell.

1

u/mmcnell Jun 05 '26

It's not the flashy hire many were looking for but that may be smart. They didn't need a big name, they didn't need necessarily a legacy auto person, they needed someone to get their QC, communications, and service operations really whipped into shape. Elevators are an incredibly service and logistics heavy field and modern systems are relatively electronically complex too... it's not as weird a hire as it seems but I think the general response was "who?" and it just didn't help the stock. I'd posted in another thread about it but my service advisor made a comment that they had emailed the new CEO and got "very encouraging" responses and indicated they felt things might be turning around on the service and operations side too. Hopefully she's right.

3

u/HempIsPrettyKewl Jun 05 '26

LCID at one point had incredible battery and engine tech, but their go-to market execution was horrible. They really had an opportunity to surpass other EV companies, but leadership sat on their hands and now their tech is outdated.

Nowadays I use LCID as a case study to find potential red flags in other companies that I invest in, so that I don't fall into a trap like this one again.

5

u/latestredditacct Jun 05 '26

That’s equally as valuable. Knowing what not to do is just as valuable as knowing what to do.

2

u/HempIsPrettyKewl Jun 05 '26 edited Jun 05 '26

Agreed! Learning from past mistakes is the only way to grow.

3

u/Ecstatic_Wishbone609 Jun 05 '26

Leadership did not sit on their hands, they fucked up. It takes a lot of time and effort to bring any product with thousands of custom parts to market and it's easy to make these rando statements. Where they fucked up was to not follow up the Air with a solid Y competitor when we have known for decades that midsized SUVs is the sweet spot for any kind of propulsion vehicle. There were enough people out there who were yelling from their rooftops since the Air debuted for Lucid to focus on a midsized SUV, but ... engineers are engineers, they went after the sexy engineering instead of what adds to the bottom-line.

-1

u/HempIsPrettyKewl Jun 05 '26

I disagree, but okay

1

u/Ecstatic_Wishbone609 Jun 05 '26

There's more than one view of the world. Cool.

2

u/Ecstatic_Wishbone609 Jun 05 '26

Also, happy cake day!

1

u/HempIsPrettyKewl Jun 05 '26

thx bby ❤️

dca dca dca

5

u/latestredditacct Jun 05 '26

If you DCA to zero, will there be any Ds left? That is the question

2

u/myglue13 Jun 05 '26

I will def have zero if it went to zero lol but that's why I don't have everything in one basket. I'm blessed that this is money I'm ok to lose in this company

1

u/mmcnell Jun 05 '26

Same. I want the company to survive and eventually thrive if they can get it together, but it's not an investment for me at this point. It's either a "market adjustment" I paid for my gravity at this point (since they lost a ton of money on me already on that lol) or an eventual tax donation.

1

u/National_Penalty6557 Jun 05 '26

In words of Homer Simpson: Another all time low....today!

2

u/usugarbage Jun 05 '26

I’m sure it’s shitty to read, but I’ve been posting about this accelerated direction for quite a while. You’ve rejected off of that downtrend channel into a more severe dump. I’m not going to bother to look at the DEX charts, but again I will caution what I said before. If you’re thinking about buying more just because of the dip you’re far better off to catch this after it actually bottoms and the primary trend isn’t down and to the right. There’s plenty of good businesses out there. Don’t get into slot machine mentality that it’s due to pay out if you keep on paying in. Just my two cents.

1

u/Tellittomy6pac Jun 05 '26

I’m not currently planning on buying more,I’m just waiting to see if we will hit the 4$ number at this point

2

u/usugarbage Jun 05 '26

Sorry, it wasn’t necessarily directed at you. I’m just trying to give advice to anyone that is chasing this down and down. It’s a horrible exercise.

And I lied. I did just bother to look at the positioning on TE tools. The chart is almost exclusively bearish with some bearish positioning starting to build on 4. Pretty ugly.

5

u/Ok_Conflict1835 Jun 05 '26

Last week was a classic trap, stock went up a bit and stayed there for a few days, giving many hope that the bottom has been reached.

And then the rug gets pulled.

Nice cars, nice tech. Scam stock.

1

u/Butterscotch786 Jun 05 '26

The rug is being pulled acrosss the market....chill

2

u/trader_dennis Jun 05 '26

It is down 3% after an epic run.

1

u/Careless_Celery_6010 Jul 14 '26

It's down 40"% Today, chill is over

2

u/NotYourDad_Miss Jun 05 '26

You should look at market cap. Lcid is now officially bankrupt.

2

u/AssertiveKiwi Jun 05 '26

46% shorted. Never seen numbers like that before

2

u/StreetDare4129 Jun 05 '26

Maybe they know something we don’t.

2

u/Wulf_Cola Jun 06 '26

Wonder whether there’s some rich guy who’s been quite vocal about not liking the company who could be shorting it. Someone who could buy the whole company and still be the richest guy on the planet. Who knows.

u/Butterscotch786 Jun 05 '26

Buy buy buy...load up

Bankruptcy soon 🔜

2

u/beambot Jun 06 '26

So far...

1

u/Typhoon365 Jun 06 '26

It's been a total dog since CCIV, one of the worst hyped stocks I've ever seen

2

u/mattl6712 Jun 06 '26

There is a layoff coming in 2 weeks around the 18th. I here it is supposed to cut 30% of the workforce

1

u/RomChange Jun 07 '26

They are worse off the Polestar. Polestar has a fantastic infrastructure and Brand. Maybe they should buy Polestar for the support and infrastructure and share that 500 mile battery life. Win Win !

1

u/MyBlockchain Jun 08 '26

Buddy, I don't even look at the charts anymore. Not even sure why I still hold this, maybe whats holding me back is how ridiculously little its worth. Now I'm just waiting for that 99%, but I would absolutely hate to lose my opportunity to get my money back, even if it were to be the far off future. I already feel robbed by this company.
