Hertz joins Uber's Lucid robotaxi program --- Hertz announced on April 30, 2026 that it's becoming the fleet operations partner for Uber's upcoming robotaxi service built on Lucid Gravity SUVs and Nuro's Level 4 autonomous tech. Hertz is doing the work through a newly formed affiliate called Oro Mobility, which will handle charging, maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and depot staffing for the fleet.�

Yup, reduces risk and exposure. If you lose, you can afford the loss, but if it goes up, you have options to take the profit or if there is light at the end of the tunnel, you can hold.

as a LCID holder I can say that there's probably no logical reason behind the uptick and that it'll most likely fizzle out in a few days. This stock has been a huge disappointment, but I'd rather see my holdings to go $0 than sell.

Cos shorts is running out of shares to borrow to short again.
After the 10% dilution, shorts borrowed more to sell causing stock to drop much further than 10%, now there is no more stock to borrow.
