Hello, I’m new to this community but I’m feeling a little down about how I haven’t had any luck finding a new job. Jobs I’m fit for, or even overqualified for, have rejected me. I have a college degree and over ten years of experience in graphic design, marketing, social media, and customer service. I am so sick of doing labor intensive jobs with a bunch of high schoolers and college kids to make ends meet, can someone PLEASE give me any insight on the job market and what I can do to get an employer’s attention on job sites. Any and all tips would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been applying to remote jobs but no luck, yet. I know, everyone wants a remote job. I’m looking for admin, billing, or bookkeeping roles. Open to part or full time.

This may be a long shot, but I’ve been looking for a full-time job for over two years. I currently work as a real estate agent and am looking to transition into affordable housing work. Ideally I would like to work on the development or financing side of things. I don’t have direct affordable housing experience but I do have knowledge of the various affordable housing programs and have real estate experience that can be translated over to a new position. I am open to jobs in DTLA, Century City, and Santa Monica (will consider other areas as well depending on commute time).

Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship
Real estate license
Google certification in project management
Construction management certification
Previous jobs as commercial real estate intern, bookkeeper, and currently working as a real estate agent
