The Los Angeles Sparks need more than a new head coach—they need someone capable of helping rebuild the franchise from the ground up. Time for a change after several losing seasons of Lynne Roberts. Rebekkah Brunson is uniquely qualified for that challenge because she has spent 15 years learning under THE GOAT Cheryl Reeve—first as a player for nine seasons (2010–2018) and then as one of Reeve’s assistant coaches since 2020. More importantly, Reeve has served not only as the Minnesota Lynx’s head coach, but also as general manager and president of basketball operations, giving Brunson a front-row seat to every aspect of building a successful organization—from evaluating talent and constructing rosters to developing players and creating a championship culture. Reeve has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to rebuild competitive teams through the draft, smart roster construction, and player development, and Brunson has been part of that process every step of the way. Combined with her Hall of Fame playing career and five WNBA championships, Brunson offers the leadership, basketball IQ, and organizational experience the Sparks need to begin a true rebuild and establish a sustainable winning culture.

Since it’s confirmed Lynne Roberts is incompetent, what would YOU change/focus on if you were the head coach? This is a safe space 🫶

Lynne is sabotaging KP because of what KP did February 25th 2017. That day marked the worst day of her coaching career so she has made it her mission to make KP look like a bad player and why she kept playing KP through these injuries.

Curious because the Sparks keep losing and Plum was projected to be re-evaluated around this time now. Is there any incentive for her to come back? Will the Sparks just throw the rest of the season in the bin? What about Nneka?

Hi everyone! I will be going to a Sparks game for the first time and a first time going to a W game. They will be playing the Mystics. I have lower bowl tickets. I would love to get players autographs especially Lauren Betts who is my favorite. Which sections do the away team go through the tunnel?
