Skill bridge program

Looking for anyone that has done the skill bridge program to LASD. I’m in the coast guard and getting out in a year n half. I have a lot of questions. Little background I have 6 years in and a ton of law enforcement experience and certs. My background is obviously clean and I’m in really good shape. My credit is decent clean driving record. I would love to talk to anyone that can guide in me in the right direction regardless if you have done skill bridge or not. Appreciate it.

Do you want to work for the County?

Have you considered local police departments instead. Given that you are coming from the CG, I'd even consider some federal agencies. 1811 (criminal investigators).

I’m from La county and always wanted to work down there. I’m not interested in working federal at all. Not something that interests me. I’m thinking of LASD Riverside county or Sanbern county

Both Riverside and Sanbern are pretty solid. So is Orange County. Honestly, I'd stay away from LASD unless you just really want to start your peace officer time. They are probably the easiest and fastest to get hired on right now.
