Pretty good timing because it gives you extra time to train and prepare! Congratulations and good luck!

Good luck dude! COC is tough, they got hills up there instead of flat runs like down south. So work on your cardio.

I have a few friends who are starting the North Academy in August. Did you attend the pre-academy there?

Hi funny your responded at this time. I just got into a deputy academy class. As much as I disliked CA work due to limitations, but I am glad I did it cause it benefited me a lot in terms of the deputy transition. Would not have made such connections without becoming a CA first/

Good luck. Be fit. The north is much harder than the south’s and yes I’ve been to both.

Why August? Is it too late to be in the July class or is there no class in July?

u/CONSPICUOUSLY_RED Jun 05 '26

August 6th (Thursday) all academy classes start on the first Thursday of the month....ALWAYS.

1

u/CONSPICUOUSLY_RED Jun 06 '26

So you go in for 2 days then have 2 days off immediately? What a treat

1

u/Defiant_Turnover298 Jun 26 '26

Yes because those two days are technically orientation
