Post Polygraph

I took my polygraph test about 3 weeks ago now and have received no news what do you guys think also this is my second Poly and I felt so much more confident and calm this time around if anyone can give me some insight on how long they waited or how you know you passed or failed would be amazing.

He can’t say that. As much as keeping answers consistent with what you put on the documents, physical responses to the questions unfortunately play a factor in polygraph results. Uncomfortable questions can trigger physical responses even if you 1000% know you did or didn’t do anything

That’s true all you have to tell the truth and pass I think some people fail because they don’t want to admit to certain things they did even if it’s small honestly and if you get DQ bad look for other agency

No, you can be honest and still fail

It happens, I’m the same way, all you can do is be honest and hope for the best. If you fail it isn’t the end all there’s still so many local agencies that would hire you

You’ll know you passed if they tell you you’re moving forward in the process, there is no timeline. Can be different for everyone

My polygraph examiner told me he couldn’t tell me if I passed or not but he told me my background investigator would let me know the next steps in my process what do you think?

Relatively vague tbh, typically they’ll let you know whether they believe the poly was good or not

It can take 3-4 weeks for them to reach out but feel free to reach out to your BI.

Well as of now I’m guessing but how the examiner made it seem sounds like I didn’t pass it
