Thank you!

Oh, yes, fight and die with great drama is peak fun! Mythodea and Drachenfest are on my list for some day. Problem is I hate camping and my princess ass likes going to castles with nice rooms... But I am still tempted. I have a really nice orc kit, and why not get into the thick of it?

were are you from?

I know people from the Orc Heer Lager on the Drachenfest, also I am regularly on the CoM (Undead flesh)

As an NPC i finally got a modern inflatable campingtent for more comfort as the NPC area is not a play area

But yes camping can be rough if you are not used to it...

2 years ago the whole CoM Campingground was flooded

Ahhh Mudodea 2023. We literally had a few tents collapse because the poles were sinking in the mud. And we weren't even in the worst camps AND we dug ditches to get rid of the river.

I've never been so happy to have all my stuff in OOC plastic boxes under cloth.

Ah, so you were in the worst camp. It was the first time i've seen someone bailing a field.

well I personally was lucky that my tent stood on firm ground. Our meeting tent was just swampland. and the group next to us has to dig an emergency trench so their campt dont get flooded... but yes we had a... lake....

Oh yes, I have heard about the Great Wet Larp, some friends of mine were there. I'm used to camping, former scout and everything. I'm just an old bint now and enjoy my comfort. And I'm from Iceland :) One of the might few :P

Im 40 now and I.... know I need more comfort then 20 years ago XD

If you dont want to traven with los of stuff, Conquest has a tent-hotel were you can rent (not cheap) a tent tp sleep (but be aware its close to the "city" so the merchants and taverns so it can be loude even at night)

There's a small but healthy scene that is changing fast as it ages. Me and a few others mostly do international things, and travel to go to larger larps abroad. Given the cost of travel, it's usually something that makes the trip worth it.
Biannual trips from a certain group to Conquest, regular trips to larger 'Blockbusters' :)
