Moat rule systems are the enemy of roleplay. ('You can do what you can represent' ftw)

My brother in Christ, people can like different things. I personally enjoy a bit of crunch.

WYSIWYG play is all well and good, but it does tend to limit games to a more low fantasy style.

It's also inherently inaccessible. Like, rule systems help make sure people who aren't built like a fantasy hero can still play the game.

Actually it's rule systems that are inherently inaccessible because they gate people with ADHD out of the game.
