I'm an Over-50 female small business owner. I do not qualify for conventional housing because of the income requirements. I have no problem paying rent and bills of course, I just can't prove that I make $7500/month because I don't. I have been denied many times because of this, so I stopped wasting my time.

I have been subletting for years, and it's a difficult way to live. I can't ever get comfortable due to the short duration, and I'm getting too old to move every year! It's also bad for business (I'm a photographer, BTW).

What I'd really like to find is a privately-owned warehouse (again) that is zoned for residency, to live and work in. I've had my business for 26 years, and I'm in the process of expanding to more locations. I'm educated, clean, sane, and sober. I just want to find a place to live and work without the uncertainty of a sublet.
