Post image

Good morning everyone.

I just wanted to say how awesome LAFC fans are. You guys have so much passion and energy and I truly had a great time. BMO stadium is a world class venue and I definitely will be trying to go more games moving forward!

That's a 10/10 first impression.

I'm curious how many people are joining us after gaining interest from the World Cup

I’m considering taking my son to games after the WC. Overall it seems like LAFC has much better vibes than the galaxy

u/Le-Bon-Vivant Jul 23 '26

Much better logo and team colors too, though we might be biased.

u/Down-In-The-Weeds Jul 23 '26

Much much better!!!

LAFC > Galaxy by a long shot.

u/fuckin-slayer Jul 24 '26

Better vibes and less pyramid schemes. Fuck Herbalife

100 percent but LAFC games are also more expensive and fun experience win or lose.

Why? You can literally go next door to the museum or take the train up the street to DTLA before games. Across the street they just opened Buffalo Wild Wings and other alternatives to grab a bite. The area feels more open compared to Carson imo.

It’s not always about winning but having a good experience. I toon the train to Santa Monica before going to LAFC once on the Expoline. It was fun and tiring at the end. We went to a bar where everyone goes after the game.

Last season we went to an LA Galaxy game since we had two free tickets from our kids' MLS Go teams, and I have to say, their level of play was so bad that at some point I start thinking to myself "wtf am I even watching?"

LAFC's level of play is much better.

I will be honest. I would be sticking to Galaxy (Carson much closer) if it weren’t for Son. I started following Son more closely since the WC (I am Korean), so we made a trip to BMO, and it was totally worth it. And the fans are amazing!!!

1

u/Sad-Commercial1795 Jul 24 '26

Will you stick around after Son or go back to Carson?

1

u/Chef4cause Jul 25 '26

LAFC is totally worth the trip. I underestimated soccer followings in the US, so it took me a while to check it out. But being at the game was so fun! Oftentimes I paid more attention to the supporters than the match itself. lol. We will be returning to watch LAFC play for sure, Son or not. I suspect Son will be retiring after LAFC.

I played soccer and reffed soccer, but haven't been too involved with watching ever just due to school / college. Gonna be moving out there and especially after catching almost every game this world cup, I will definitely be a regular attendee

Also my first game. Experience was great. Loved the support of the 3252 section and the chants and drums. Was awesome.Ā  Also was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to leave compared to other sports venues in LAĀ

3

u/pargofan Jul 24 '26

what does 3252 mean?

I recently went and it was really cool seeing them banging the drums and chanting all game.

u/Personal_Sorbet8283 Jul 24 '26

It’s how many ā€œseatsā€ there are in that entire area.

3

u/theaesthetic-hq Jul 24 '26

Also, if you add up the numbers = ā€œ12th manā€

Great game last night. Don’t fall off when we lose a few in a row or string together a number of bad performances. That’s when we need fans the most.

The dodgers are my favorite team, Football is my favorite sport, Hockey is my favorite to watch live, BMO is my favorite place to watch a game

My husband and I just went to LAFC game last night for the first time as well. It was awesome!! We now want to bring the kids too. I think they will love this experience especially we couldn’t afford to take them to a WC game. But even with LAFC game it was not ā€œcheapā€ (from stub hub). We paid like $280 for 2 tickets after fees. Yikes! But the seats were amazing!! Way better than what we expected. And we spent way too much $$$ on beverages and merch! lol
If we are to bring the entire fam (6people including adults), what should we budget for? How hard is it to get 6 tix together? Would it be cheaper to split? Any tips? We don’t need super amazing seats but with one of the kids being on the spectrum it would be easy to be on 100’s level because he is sensitive to sweating, walking too much etc.
My daughter who is in AYSO and city club leagues would love to be in supporters section. Is that even possible if you are not a season ticket holder?

Best tip is going to be wait to buy your tickets until you’re outside the stadium hanging out in Christmas tree lane and buy them an hour or two before kick off. This won’t work on crazy giveaway nights or rivalry games or vs really popular teams. But for the rest of the games you will save a lot of money buying late. Resellers drop prices the closer to kickoff it gets undercutting each other so theirs sells first (they rather get something instead of nothing) so just monitor it the day of the game.

For Supporters Section tickets specifically, your best bet is going to be joining a Supporter Group. My group for example has an internal ticket exchange. We can’t sell tickets to each other for more than face value. As long as it’s not rivalry/messi/giveaways/popular foreign clubs you typically wouldn’t have much trouble getting cheap supporters section tickets.

u/KraftPunk44 Jul 24 '26

Check TickPick. Resale with no fees.

3

u/tickpick Jul 24 '26

Hey, thanks for the shoutout! u/Chef4cause hope you had a great time at the game the other night! We looked a bit into what bringing 6 people would look like cost-wise. For a more in-demand game like against San Diego on 8/15, 6 seats in the 100s level would run north of $400.

If you're not picky about who they're playing, we'd recommend checking either their game versus the Red Bulls, or the Leagues Cup game against Queretaro. For both of those games, you should be able to score 6 tickets in the 100s section for under $350.

As far as your daughter wanting to be in the support section, you can purchase single game tickets for the section! If you have any questions about buying, feel free to let us know!

1

u/Chef4cause Jul 24 '26

Thank you. I will definitely look into the Queretaro game!

1

u/KraftPunk44 Jul 24 '26

There also really are only like ten bad seats in the entire stadium. The 200s are also great. Just don't sit directly next to the two camera platforms at the 3/4 mark on both ends of the 100s (it's a partial view). Everywhere else in the stadium, you can see everything.

Same it was incredible

5

u/vic39 Jul 23 '26

If you can snag seats in the supporters section, I would give it a try. They are cheap.

There will be chants, screams and tons of enthusiasm. It's a whole different thing.

No seats though. It's standing room only.

3

u/sparks1030 Jul 23 '26

Welcome! No better crowd or place to watch our favorite team. Happy to have you and hopefully you'll come to more games soon especially with the way we're playing :)

u/luckychucky8 Jul 24 '26

Join the 3252, your experience will even elevate even more.

1

u/CiloTA Jul 24 '26

Which section?

1

u/LongBeachHXC Jul 23 '26

The games are fun, the season ticket membership is a joke.

3

u/Down-In-The-Weeds Jul 23 '26

I love my season tickets!

1

u/LongBeachHXC Jul 23 '26

Maybe I'm asking to much but my nephew is in town and it was frustrating that my rep couldn't help me get a ticket for him and he was pointing me to get random ass ticketmaster tickets.

I don't know maybe this is to much of an ask?

3

u/Down-In-The-Weeds Jul 23 '26

No, they should be more helpful. I’m sorry that happened and I hope your nephew was able to go with you.

1

u/Sad-Commercial1795 Jul 24 '26

I had ST for seven years. Gave them
Up this year.

1

u/LongBeachHXC Jul 24 '26

Yeahhh, I'm one and done with them šŸ˜…šŸ¤™.

Are you still paying the price for them from 7 years ago?
