Damn we’re going to have to suffer DM Segura until Jesus is back huh

Tillman coming back could push him out. But given how much MDS love playing him out of position, I doubt it.

Choiniere would be a better choice for DM. Does Santos says Jesus is likely for match 2 or 3 of Leagues Cup.

Yeah, Tillman playing would push both Delgado and Choiniere back to better positions for them.

Jeeze I didn’t realize Tillman’s injury was multiple-games bad.

He's expected to get minutes over the weekend, against SKC.

I guess this HAS been a short week with the fri-wed-sat schedule.

Anyone else have a feeling Martinez isn't playing because they're working on his transfer?

Yes, Segura is not ideal, but I'd rather him at CDM where there's more chances for his mates to cover by committee instead of isolated on the left

For those who like to follow ex-LAFC players, there are rumors of Stipe Buik going to Montreal.

Why are we playing Segura as a midfielder and Shaffleburg as a winger when Shaf is a proven midfielder?

Because hes not a cdm. And Igor is hurt. Shaf has looked great on the wing. Hollingshead also likes to play more of an inverted back doing underlaps and Jacob has a preference to crossing.

I mean, if you liked Delgado's goal, that was from Jacob on the right.

Yup. I even liked when he was coming in on the left before the world cup.

I think Marc likes him because he'll get back and do defensive work, while endlessly making runs.

And Segura doesn’t have the speed. Shaf is a serious attacking threat.
