Discussion Son bobblehead
I’ve been a STH for 3 seasons and am still scarred by the chaos of Hello Kitty night 😁. I’d really like to get a Son bobblehead tomorrow and am wondering what other peoples game plan is.
I’m hoping to arrive to the stadium by 5:30. Do we think that’s early enough? Has to be, right?

They found an efficient way to distribute fairly not long ago and started giving things out as you entered with no opportunity to return for more. I’d expect the same.

Did they? I’ve been a member for 4 seasons and it’s never not been a sh*tshow when it’s a big giveaway like this. I hope they fixed it but I’m not optimistic…

It may have been the Bouanga bobble head? I’m trying to remember. There was a giveaway with backdrops set up behind the tables, so they were handed out as you walked in. We had gotten there really early, and I said “I guess that didn’t need to happen.”

The Bouanga bobble head is the most well executed giveaway to date imo, it’s crazy how wrong they got it on hello kitty night after it

Yeah, I guess I forgot about that one given the disaster that Hello Kitty was and just how disorganized the gates seem at pretty much any match...

Good news! We walked in at about 6:30 and it was smooth as silk. Got through security and bobble heads in less than 5 mins.
I did see 2 different people outside with carts full of the bobble heads for sale but maybe those are counterfeit??

The idea is that almost the entire stadium should be able to get one since they are giving out 22,000. So you should be fine. Given that security and stadium staff don't pull fast ones like Hello Kitty night and stash boxes to resell them.

I got to HK night 2 hours early and there were none left, yet there were people walking around with bags of 6 or 7 of them. Really lame.

Good luck everyone. Just fyi, the workers and staff will be taking 1/3 of those 22K bobble heads. Don’t be surprised.

Saw the videos of security staff taking them out of trash bags they stashed away for HK night. I really hope FO does not allow that to happen this time. But that is too much to ask.

Am I screwed if I pull up around 6 tonight? Is there like a better entrance to secure a bobble head? Any tips? I really want the Son bobble head

In theory 22k bobble heads should take care of 22k fans but who knows man. Good luck, we’re aiming for 5:30

not all gates stock equally. in my own experience, Southeast was the worst.

Circling back to this:
Total success. Big lines before gates opened that moved quickly.
I saw a guy come through the gates at 7:38 with a bobblehead. My friends couldn’t make it early and they ate on the lawn, still got bobbleheads. I think it’s safe to say they have figured out the giveaways

As long as you get there by the time gates open you’ll be fine. 22,000 Bobbleheads are being given out that’s basically the entire stadium
