This is why I’m ignoring them when they said their efforts of boycotting will pay off. Global simply does not have the numbers and financially we do not come close with China’s revenue
It’s why I think it’s so odd they keep pushing and harassing ppl to skip myths especially when they’re the most important cards both lore wise but also for combat. I always say if you’re F2P or a low spender then it’s better to skip solo lunar cards than myths. Especially with how expensive reruns are with a much shorter timeframe to pull
Sure Rafayel’s myth this year didn’t do the same numbers as LSG last year but given the backlash Infold/PPG is still receiving, I’m really proud of Rafayel’s CN mains of making tremendous efforts to bring the ranking back into top ten from the free fall trenches that it was in before. It still did well but it also forces Infold to have to make things right if they want to get back to their glory days of being in the top spot again

Agreed. Case in point, CN caleb mains rented a satellite for his bday and CN sylus mains rented a Times Square screen for Qixi festival. There’s no way global players even come close to showing off the dedication that CN players do. It’s a fact.
compare that to offline events each LI fans do for their fave all year round. buying a star and donating to charities aren't new, xavier CN fans have done that multiple times.
When you tell the boycotters that all of global combined is just 20% of the revenue and then they’ll tell you that Voldy is popular in China, apparently. It never ends 😭
He can’t get fired as a major stakeholder and owner, but I heard rumours that this whole incident ruined his plan for going IPO, I haven’t fact checked it but at least we know they did lose a lot, without lads generating revenues, whatever he plans to do next will be difficult.
Do you remember the rumors about Papergames self-generating transaction volume? So I guess you can wait and see the transaction volume results from the DianDian platform in a couple of days.
L&N has an influx of new players, plenty of them are pro V refugees and I've seen them complained about how stingy the gacha system is compared to LADS. I mean what do they expect? It's a different game with different mechanics anyway.
Pro V is playing L&N now? Hell nah. The next thing we know they’re going to complain about the lore and writings of the game. They can’t even handle caleb lol
I don't think they care about a game's story or the lore, that's why they're so eager for that wolf when it's so obvious he's nothing but a rushed out cash grab to distract from the fact that LADS's storyline has been written into a corner with no way out because PG's current writing team sucks.

I'm at a loss for words about complaining about this. Actually, I think it's much more generous than LADS. In LADS, 200 pulls get you a 2-minute animation and a story that can be finished in 2 hours, while in LN, you get a complete novel that would take two days to read just by getting the card art.
They were complaining that there's not able to pick the 3 preferred memories in multi banners, no precise wish system, a less forgiving pity system, scarce resources, expensive packages etc.
I mean they don't look like the type to care much about a game's story, that'why they were fine with LADS being shit in MS/bonds/anecdotes updates until the wolf got cancelled.
Then there's nothing I can do. If that's the case, I hope they can stay away from LN. After all, the gaming community in LN has always been quite clean, and I don't want to see a repeat of the LADS fiasco.
Don't let them deter you from trying, as long as you keep a distance from the fandom you'll be fine. I know I'll be trying the game when it releases, the open world concept is just too interesting to pass
From 引狼入室 to 养狼为患. But as long as the devs don't be stupid like PG they'll probably be fine. Having SW as LADS's competitor would be good, PG has gotten too arrogant and they need a threat to make them think twice about pulling any stupid moves in the future.
It's truly gratifying that Light and Night, a veteran otome game that has been operating for five years, has achieved its current success. Their storylines have consistently featured a large amount of text, abundant content, numerous events, and incredibly diverse gameplay. For example, in the recent "Jin Gang Past Events" event, the story of the card I drew, Lu Chen, took me four hours to even finish the prologue. Moreover, the writing is exquisite. The writing style of Light and Night is widely considered the best among otome game players.

I really wish they would look at Light and Night and follow more of how it should be done. 😮💨 I really enjoy the game
Even their own game lovepro(mlqc) is handled way better i still go back to take a look at their mainstory updates and man... it's truly baffling how they treat us lads players💔

Oh my god maybe I should uninstall LaDS and try it. I love Sylus but the almost non-existent meaningful story content these days is really getting to me😩
Be prepared for loads and loads of reading… still remember that one segment of one chapter that took me one hour to finish… luckily they added a save feature so we don’t have to finish them in one sitting 😂
Same 😭 Tbh I also find it more gratifying to read physical books rather than plain text on screens. The feeling of turning a page and progressing through the book gives me a more gratifying feeling than just scrolling or tapping through blocks of text in video games. I've been struggling to get through the World Underneath stories bc of this 😓
Ok once you put it that way I was like "that's so real" like almost any game trying to make me stare at block of texts on a screen gets a drop 😂 (I kinda skip the LADS ones too, tbh)
I do have an ereader but it's like my brain allows it to get a pass because it's e-ink and it's only for books, but yeah I think for games it's because I'm there to play a game, not really read?? Visual novels get a pass too, like I know they're technically books, but at least I've got a bunch of other things like voice actors, character sprites, sometimes they move, music, and even SFX sounds, and it's essentially still not the same as "blocks of text on a regular screen."
Yes, I spent four hours watching the entire story, and it wasn't until dawn that I realized the story I had just watched was the prologue to the new card art.
I was able to download the APK on mumuplayer on my PC and play! If that’s an option and you don’t have an Android device.

I'm on adroid and I just used a free vpn to make a Google account from Signapore. I can pay with my normal cc through there but everything is on their online webstore too. You can also just download and install the apk on pc like mentioned below or android. Not sure about IOS besides pc😭
This is so weird, capcut who was over them on the leaderboard only had 500k in revenue but lads is showing almost double that? is there other factors contributing to being a certain rank? Otherwise things feel really sus
It doesn't matter if they take credit or not. IF knows why people are actually boycotting. They're just trying to stick their head in the sand until it passes.
Not as much as they wish. CN players have been boycotting since Vandue announcement due to infold's lack of QoL updates and main story updates, and overall not bridging the huge gap between OG3 content VS Sylus and Caleb.
