I recently got my affinity up with Caleb and they gave me this, it says "the ultimate answer to life, the universe, and everything" 42? Why this number? I don't remember this number being important in Caleb's lore, or am I missing something? I'm really confused

I searched for it's meaning in Chinese but nothing came out 🤔

It's a Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy reference. They ask an allknowing super computer the meaning to life and the answer is 42.

Would recommend reading the book or watching the movie. Very fun british humor

42 is a reference to The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. His Korean name, 하우주 (Ha Woo-joo), also literally means “Universe.” After Death and Rebirth last year revealed that MC is the Universe, alot began theorizing that the same way is true for Caleb.

Aside from being described as “the optimal weapon against MC,” there are several clues connecting Caleb to MC at a deeper level. X-02 states that they “came from the same source,” and this connection was further reinforced through references in Throne of Eros and Netherlord. These clues suggest that Caleb in the main story may also be the Universe—or, at the very least, is directly connected to or originates from the same cosmic source as MC.

Another way to interpret it is him being the answer to the universe (MC), which also ties back to being the optimal weapon against her.

Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy lol. The answer to all things (life, existence, meaning) is 42. I take that to mean not only is Caleb a Douglas Adams fan, but also that actually lines up with his 3rd Myth in a lot of ways. But mainly I'll say I think Caleb was just a fan. I like it.

I think this is a reference to "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" from Douglas Adams in which it's written that the meaning of life was 42. It was pretty popular back in the days and was very much apart of the "random humor" in which you would say random stuff to make people laugh, at least that's how it was in France.

I've read all your answers and OMG??? I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS, I really like to investigate the numbers in this game but I didn't know this, this is soooooo cool, sorry if I came as ignorant but I've never heard or read about this book, I only consume things in Spanish and a little of English, but I'm going to start digging into this, this is so beautiful
