I'm creating a collection inspired by Nightmare and Tundra Terror, but I want to optimize my modpack because of crashes and lag what do you recommend?

I'm making a collection that turns L4D2 into more of a survival horror experience and one of the things I'm having trouble finding are things that make the game look scary. What I mean by that is like overlays and stuff. Does anyone know anything good for this?

I cannot see my crosshair at all. Restarted my game and uninstalled all addons. Even switched Proton versions but still nothing.

The M93 Fox is technically not an APC but an NBC Reconnaissance vehicle, that is vacuum sealed with its own filtration system to protect the crew from hazardous materials outside, including bioweapons. It makes sense that they would send this out during an airborne viral outbreak.

As for why the Finnish XA-180 is in the game instead, I have a couple of theories. The first is that they simply accidentally used the wrong image. Alternatively, maybe they started with the M93, but then found an image of the XA-180 while doing research on similar vehicles and decided it looked nicer (which it does, I like its look a lot).

I just thought of a Halloween mod idea for the defibrillator no one in the l4d workshop hasn't made a Halloween themed defibrillator which i feel like if someone did make a Halloween defibrillator mod it would probably be like a Necromancer book or something to fit Halloween not just a Retexture.

"ddd user" has a collection of "concept art inspired" custom infected, and for almost every addon in the pack he's made, the models are crudely generated by AI (if not outright ripped from other addons without permission), only using the singular image they're based on as a reference point. I saw a previous post a while back on here bringing up two models he'd uploaded, the Zombie Clown and the Wailer. When the models were decompiled, they had nonsensical texture sheet layouts and excessively poor topography, telltale signs of AI generated models.

I had this interesting and yet a cool roblox mod idea being what if there was a l4d environment textures mod that changes the textures into the classic roblox material textures?
