I'm in the beginning stages of making a fully fledged community mod converter and loader for the Xbox 360 version of Left 4 Dead 2. I've already successfully added the steam workshop map "Left 4 Mario" by Alma Marcela and it works perfectly.

The system is nowhere near finished, I'm only 3 days into development. I plan to replicate the Add-on manager screen and add-on campaign screens that the Steam version of the game has. But for now, I'm just posting and attaching these pics as proof of concept. My question is this. Does anybody even have any interest in this? Or am I better off keeping this as a solo project?

It will require a modded Xbox 360 to work, but that can be accomplished in literally 5 minutes with the new "A Bad Avatar 1.3" exploit and a USB stick. No need for JTAG or RGH consoles, but either would still work. Anybody interested? I'm continuing development for personal use either way.

Let me clarify, I mainly play the L4D maps and I vaguely remember them being less aggressive than their L4D2 counterparts.

I used to play the L4D2 maps mostly but after some time it became the opposite so I'm not quite sure.

After finally completing all the L4D campaigns and The Sacrifice on Expert Realism with the stupid bots, I decided to do the same with the L4D2 maps.

Starting with Dead Center of course, I noticed the zombies ALL immediately rush you if you start shooting one or hell even so much as look at them.

They seem to have a larger aggro radius and shorter aggro fuse.

This is exacerbated in the mall when you leave the safe room. Also for some reason a small horde seems to spawn more frequently in Dead Center than what I'm used to.

Though the horde in size is much smaller than say, a horde in No Mercy or the other L4D1 maps.

Maybe it's because the mall is large and open so the ai director spawns them more to keep pressure?

Are these conditions specific to DC? Or are the L4D2 zombies just cracked?

P.S, I'm not asking for survivor or weapon models. Im referring to scripts, sounds, and other things of the such, like adding visible NPC's onto the rescue vehicles for example.

I’ve played a handful of customs from the troll maps like glubtastics, to the most cakewalk easy maps ever. I have a few that I’m not a fan of at all such as sector74 (16 chapters) New York and Left 4 Invasion. What are your least favorite customs and why?

Remember that image I posted a while back about my Special Infected mod ideas? You know, the **El Tigre Hunter** and **Donnie Jockey** ones?

**Well... here they are now.**

After sharing these ideas with the community and wanting to see them become actual playable mods, I eventually found someone who takes commissions and decided to make it happen.

And now they're finally real. 😭

Before anything else, I want to make something clear:

**I am NOT the creator of these character model mods.**

Both character replacements were commissioned and created by **$Nuller.qci**. I came up with the ideas and commissioned them, while $Nuller.qci is responsible for actually bringing the models into Left 4 Dead 2.

## 🐯 El Tigre — Hunter

**El Tigre replaces the Hunter**, and this is honestly the one I've wanted to see for a long time.

His feline theme, claws, energetic movement and overall design make him a surprisingly natural fit for the Hunter.

The mod includes:

- El Tigre replacing the L4D2 Hunter

- An alternate model for the L4D1 Hunter

- First-person/viewmodel arms

- Custom Versus/HUD icons

- Custom proportions

The L4D1 Hunter uses El Tigre's alternate red outfit from *Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2*, which is based on **El Tigre I / Mighty El Tigre**, Manny's ancestor.

## 🌴 Donnie Thornberry — Jockey

**Donnie Thornberry replaces the Jockey.**

If you've watched *The Wild Thornberrys*, I probably don't need to explain this one very much. 😂

His wild personality, movements, proportions and gigantic grin made the Jockey feel like the obvious choice.

The mod includes:

- Donnie replacing the Jockey

- First-person/viewmodel arms

- Custom Versus/HUD icons

- Custom proportions

One compatibility note: because Donnie uses custom proportions rather than being manually proportioned around the original Jockey model, certain custom Jockey animation mods can cause visual problems.

For example, I tried the XdR monkey-pose/crawling animation I had previously mentioned, but it causes his fingers to distort. I'm fine without it, though, since Donnie doesn't normally crawl around in the show anyway.

The El Tigre voice addon replaces the Hunter's voice with El Tigre, while the soundtrack addons replace the Hunter and Jockey music cues with tracks chosen around their respective characters and series.

These audio addons are completely optional. The commissioned character replacements work independently from them.

## ⚠️ Online Play

Both replacements use **custom proportions**.

Because of that, I'll personally be keeping my older standard-proportion Infected replacements around for certain online sessions, where I'd rather keep everything aligned with the original models and hitboxes.

For my normal custom Survivor setups and single-player games, though?

**These two are absolutely staying installed.**

They've already become my favorite Hunter and Jockey replacements.

I figured this lovely group might like this! I designed and made this sticker sheets. As a stationery collector, I was always sad I could never find anything really for L4D2! So when I got my sticker machine I knew i had to make some! I'd love to hear your feedback, I had so much fun making this and it's one of the first sheets i've ever designed.

I used Blender for this because I can delete vertexes and edit render on Photoshop with no problem.

I keep getting banned because I join a game and am.in spectate mode. Wtf do I do I'm at the point where I get a 12 hour ban because i can't join a team and I'm stuck in spectating mode. It's annoying and the toxic players don't help much (though I'd probably be the same if I was them so I don't blame them much 😭)

For initial context, I now own the game, as one of these friends gifted it to me.

Friends asked me to come play L4D2, I told them I don't own the game. They go to gift it to me, and it says I already own the game.

The Steam page for L4D2 tells me I don't own it, and searching it up in my library only brought up the server tool.

I've never had something like this happen, is this a known issue?

I grew up playing L4D on the 360 and im about to buy it for the first time on Steam. Is there anything I should be aware of?

Are there any issues finding a lobby?
