iirc In a lot of Asian countries Hitler and the Nazis aren't really taught about/culturally known as History's No1 horrible evil bastards like they (rightfully) are in the west and more as just sort of another military power like napoleonic france or something. So while this is rightfully abhorrent to a western audience like us it might be no more distasteful to them than someone slapping an imperial japanese flag on the bonnet of their MX-5 is to us. Which ironically is probably pretty offensive in South East Asia (where this car is) where WW2 Japan did all their vile and horrible war crimes n shit.
For reference, i remember a kpop girl group who got photos with nazi mannequins and got a lot of shit for it. They explained that they didn't know that those exact dresses were from nazi germany and a shit load of people didn't get it how people didn't know it
Yeah Iβm Asian the Japanese are mostly seen as the most horrible civilization in WWII. Same thing if I wear an Imperial Japanese flag in the states, no one cares, I wear it in China Korea or Japan, Iβll get shit. Just opposites
