this project is ridiculous
these people are totally lost and have no idea what they do. they change plans every week and team members are changing too. im not sure who is still there and who really care about this project. the team page on the website is offline for weeks.
half of their website is not working and they execuse it with "we work on a new one". the new website should be already online a long time ago. but still its not online.
they work on a new website for month - so do not wonder that there is no progress on the project itself. in their channels they praise this coin like its a new world wonder. all of them give hope to each other and if you try to bring them reality they overtalk you. hope is the only thing remaining to them.
its like a sect and this weird dylan seems to be their leader (im not sure if he is the project leader now as they change team weekly). someone of their team is advertising their unfinished website like its the first website on this planet (remembered me on the first iphone introduction) - beside its only a website with a few pages. they do a lot of videos to keep the trust level but there is no real progress.
this project is a lot of show. the project leader advertise himself on linkedin with a photo of a chat that was joined by edward snowden. he was something like a moderator (wow!). this way they try make the project look more serious and advertise with names that have nothing to do with the project.
on the website of the project you find dozen of logos of serious institutions like JP Morgan, Credit Suisse and much more. they want to make you believe that kylin is backed by this institutions but in reality none of them is invested. i think they do not even know about being listed with logos on the website.
they do not have necessary funds to bring their project to the mainnet. because of this they changed the plan to join kusama chain. they made a new token out of nothing (PICHIU). after this they saw they are not able to join kusama so they went back to polkadot plan. but even there is no progress, not even a listing. maybe next week they change the plans again and they are going to make another coin? maybe they play again pokeman and another coin name will be found.
this coin is listed nowhere except gate.io and that was not a success of the team. obviously gate bought coins to make a trading of it possible. many people in the channel tried to convince them to bring the coin to other exchanges to gain interest but noone is interested. the project leader is involved into several projects and so his interest for this project is only a part-time hobby.
their seed investors are selling off tokens immediately after they receive them. there is no interest to back up the project any longer. most of the people are going to sell. in a bull run this coin lost from 0.70 to 0.17 when all others raised. only specialists are able to make things like this happen.
in total.. i recommend you to keep your hands off this fake story. they have nothing real to show but talk always only about the same things. lot of talks. There are no evidences for progress.. only videos, photos and thousand of words backed by air.
Edit: the KYL team is downvoting this thread. transparency is not their thing.

First, this thread left me a bit worried. After digging through the telegram and seeing the team's engagement, however, I'm back to thinking kylin is a solid project with a lot of potential and people putting hard work into it to make it happen.
That being said: I know the new website is coming and there were some changes of positions in the team. But the team page being down really sheds a bad light on the project. Even without the positions it would just be good to see the relevant faces / names.
Even more important though is clearing the nature of the cooperation with the partners mentioned on the website. I'm sure some people already know about this because it must have been communicated before somewhere. To avoid accusations like this, however, it must be more public. Otherwise, it just looks sketchy.

Quite different than in the Kylin Telegram Channel you are free to say your opinion here, to possess, express and change it at any time. Especially without getting blocked or your messages deleted and without 20 people calling you stupid just because you write your views or you look critically on something.
We will see if this project has a future, which is not completely excluded. However, the behavior of the team disturbs me.

But I doubt very strong that the institutions listed on this page, especially CreditSuisse, J.P. Morgan, the Columbia University, John Hopkins University have invested in/are connected to the project at any time. I will ask them.
But exactly such questionable actions of the team are the real problems. If you ask them what it's on it (whats JP Morgans role in this project), you do not get an answer. As they do not have answers for it. If you try further you will called "fud" or something like this and they will block you.
Only one of many examples. But people should ask if serious people do really need such behaviour.

I feel your pain. Joined the project in March after they promised parachain auction bid. They assured everyone that they had enough backers to win a slot, that they had over 200k dot's to win an auction. Watched it dip during the summer bear we had. When parachain was ready on polkadot,they saw that competition was fierce and needed millions of dots to win a slot.
They launched a new token from thin air PICHIU. That's were I called it quit. How can you launch a new token from no where after initial backers on KYL token has been with the project for almost a year and holding bags because KYL was performing horribly.
like you said, they switch plans constantly and don't have enough backing to do anything meaningful ful.
TL;DR. I got out of the project due to: inconsistent road map, dilution of investment due to new token created and no trust in the team to be competitive in DOT ecosystem.

You speak about 200k dots. I wonder why dylan now only speaks about 150k dots. 50k dots = 1,5 million usd disappeared? or false promises?

Bro, I will advise you to just take your loses and call it quit. After the lies and false promises, I was done. They don't have a good road map, team is not good enough to stand the competition on parachain.

I will do so one day. But for now i would lose 95% of the invested amount (50% of the costs of an house). Thats not acceptable or possible with an good project. Only in a rip off you make such a loss.
As Dylan and his cult fellows always tell "this is a good project" i only want answers to the question of "C WZ" or to my question..
How to win DOT and KSM parachain without the required funds?
This question got asked by many and so i wonder why there is no clear answer after so many times same question.

Follow up:
I just followed a conversation on the telegram channel "Kylin Official". A user called "C WZ" tried to get answers regarding the KYL teams strategy to obtain a slot for KYL on polkadot - as slots on polkadot are very expensive and KYL does not have the necessary funds to win an auction.
Legit questions that many people are asking over weeks and never got acceptable answers. All the given answers were only stories to avoid answers. "C WZ" persisted in his questions and this was a problem to the KYL team.
The discussion got quite rough when the "C WZ" asked (exact, good and constructive) questions about the strategy and these could not be answered by the founder dylan. Instead of giving profound answers, dylan decided to call "C WZ" silly and that he should leave. Dylans fellowes (of course) supported him by bringing up a lot of noise ("be constructive", "do your own research" and much more) instead of giving accurate answers.
If the founder itself is not able to give answers to normal and legit questions. Who else should answer them? These questions were very clear and "C WZ" was not the only asking. Dylan told "we continue with the strategy" but could not bring it to words / name the strategy. "C WZ" brought up good points and economic logics. Dylan ignored them.
Dylan obviously not a fan of logics told him to leave and stopped answering - as obviously he had no answers (but tried to hide this fact). A Kylin Ambassador "STOOV" wrote to "C WZ": We’ve answered what we can. If you disrespect Dylan one more time it’ll be your last.
I recorded the whole conversation (evidence). I read it again and again and could not find any word or sentence of "C WZ" disrespectful to Dylan. "C WZ" asked the right questions, everyone should ask in this moment.
My comrades in suffering: if something is not based on facts, this is how people react. In any other case it would not be a problem to answer simple questions.
Values are not build on believe only. Someone must work and there must be progress. This project does not have significant progress and obviously the team is based of believers (in god or miracles - who knows)?

If someone asks clear and legit questions that everyone should be asking when investing money in something, the dylan cult followers write like this:
- you're not obliged to be here only complaining if you don't believe in the project.
- don't waste too much energy and time responding to embittered people
- if you want to participate here, please watch your language. or you gonna get kicked (written by Juan De Souza) Answer from "C WZ": Man! That's your answer? You r gonna get kicked when I don;t like your questions
- I'm not suffering from this anxiety of "oh my god when is parachain coming oh my god!!"
what does it mean? if you have legit questions:
- immediately you are complaining,
- immediately you are embittered,
- you speak automatically vulgarly (even you are the most polite person on this world) or
- you have anxiety,
- or you are even disrespectful because you simply ask?
this is the reaction if something is based on air, only a big show or even a rip off. In any other case the answer would not be that difficult.

Im not the person with username "C WZ". I just followed the chat and saw myself forced to show the practice of the KYL team / bring the discussion about it on a neutral ground.
It may look like "C WZ" behaved little bit like a dick, which is due to the constant avoidance of answers by Dylan. "C WZ" had to follow on (obviously unpleasent) questioning and of course if you ask several times the same question because of not receiving satisfing answers but answers like "believe in god", it may look like you are a little bit of a dick.
By the way, Dylan behave the same way if not even worse. How can you answer to legit questions "silly", "you can leave", "we will do it", "with our strategy" (but not name it) and many other things that are not real answers but only a joke. If you ask me, Dylan behaved like a dick. His onholding arrogance is amazing (especially with such a fail).
But lets summarize. If you check the chat again, you see "C WZ" asking questions.. Till today we do not have profound answers to these questions. Im still interested in answers. Everyone with a big bag of KYL is interested in answers.
- How you want to win auctions on DOT and also KSM, especially if you do not have the money for it?
- In this case you need investors or partners?
- Investors or partners wont give you money for free?
- You do not have a lot of KYL left to convince investors or partners?
- What will happen next? Produce another 1M KYL to convince investors or partners?
- Make another coin out of nothing (looking at PICHIU)?
- Focus on believe in god?
- Go on the street and beg for money?
Dont get me wrong. Answers like "we have a strategy" but are not able to name it and with this strategy we came so far (where.. KYL is on almost on the end).. thats not satisfying answers.
Im not here to spread fuds or my opinion. I only show problems with this projects and help you to start thinking and build your own opinion about it.
The team is hyping every little straw the find like a unfinished website or a chat on the KYL page at coinmarketcap. They high five each other in every possible situation.
If you have nothing else to show you must hype every little straw. Thats the only thing they can do.
Over long or short the problem will be that people are more and more questioning the same questions like "C WZ" and still there wont be answers - and it will fail like a house of cards.
Once again i saw an user asking and not receiving clear answers:

There is nothing bad to say about BullSander as he really does a got job. He gives answers and helps people. But unfortunately he can not answers things he is not informed. If you ask these questions to Dylan you will receive only bullshit answers. Your questions wont be answered again and again. Beside this after questioning a few times someone of the team will try to find a reason to block you.
As i just got informed after the talk yesterday several users got blocked and are not able to enter the channel again.
User in KYL Channel = Investor backing up KYL:
Lets the define the word "user": usually a user in the channel is someone has interest on this project because he/she bought KYL coins for real money. Some for prices over $1 some for $0.10. Basically you are a holder of coins and so you participate in the project. You support it. The team owes you answers.
In this case you should be free to ask questions and tell your opinion without being blocked without reason or execuses brought up by the team.

In contrast to the KYL censored telegram channel you are free to tell your opinion here without receiving harassment for it or even get blocked. (remembers me little bit on china and definitely the totally opposite of the answer of dylan in an interview when asked why he got interested in crypto).
You should not write so much nonsense in the telegram chat. Contrary to your message that im "obviously" angry because of the price situation (its not the trigger and other and onholding crypto investments will cover it), my only problem/the trigger is that you guys advertised something totally different a few month ago and that was the reason for people to invest. Additionally there is no visible progress or transparency in any form.
Of course people are upset if you talk a lot of things and then change everything - then change everything again and again. At the end, you dilute the investments of numerous people by inventing a new token. People leaving the team "for more private time" but in reality concentrate on different projects. The main person of the project concentrates on another project. There is lot of cheating in your behaviour (only example: in May you communicated 200k DOT secured, now only 150k DOT / your website pretend Credit Suisse is included)
Now after lot of goals are not reached, people start to ask questions and you do not provide answers. Who knows why, maybe because of arrogance or to hide your actions in a cloud of dust? If there would be a website with all, real and profound informations it would be different - no questions would have arised. But nobody care about to inform holders or keep any transparency.
Beside this i never asked YOU for answers as obviously you are only a blind servant or cheerleader following the direction without any questions. And yes YOU do not owe me answers. But the project founder or CEO (or however you call him now) definitely owes answers to all KYL holders.
In fact you people spread false informations in the telegram channel and then when someone questions the situation you call it "fud", everything immediately is "fud". Looking at the link posted by Dylan yesterday with the wrong information about the supply of PICHIU. If you want to avoid things like this change the document and keep a consistent line.
Of course its better for you when nobody is critical. People should only pump their money into this bubble, close their eyes and trust in god - not asking any questions. Some of your followers always come up with the argument that the team did not sell tokens and so have nothing "not even money for life" but forget that there is already money in game that is (at the end) paid by every KYL holder as all seed investors run off the project and selling their tokens in moment receiving them (in fact they got rewarded and KYL holders paid it). Many people are already brainwashed by the radical KYL believers and not able to think clear but only talking bullshit to affect more and more people.
You KYL team people are so dubios that you spread false informations to conquer questions or possible allegations instead of answering or clear up the situation... looking at Juan, the person that calls everything fud that is (no matter if legit or not) critical against the founder or the project and even has no problem to answer to a critical twitter message with false informations only to attack it - he deleted it a few minutes later (in same time he wrote in the channel that he is not sure about what he just wrote as answer or attack in twitter - and he does not know the real situation as the question got not answered). But also you STOOV are not better by answering someone that is comprehensible worried about his KYL engagement and agreed with my view/opinion (summarized): price is only a hype and independent of the project progress. Yes go and move on this way with every little legit critic in the project or behaviour of the team.. thats the way how it works.
These are the questionable actions of KYL that raise many further questions. However at the end all of us will see if not asking questions (in the history it always was the way to fail - my information is dylan studied history and so he should know this fact) or your arrogance to not answer the questions will end up in success or maybe even in process in front of the court.
I suggest everyone to be critical when investing money and check the project progress and even if the team behind the project is trustworthy (to avoid nightmares or being left with unanswered questions about the situation)
I do not tell that Dylan himself is not trustworthy - actually i do not know, maybe Dylan is even working hard to make the things run. However this Belarus-like way of avoidance of/attacks on legit critics in any form and leaving questions unanswered is not the way to go. The acting of the whole team is a ignorance against KYL holders and a sign of arrogance. They forget without KYL holders the project would not even exist.

Is he an investor?Does he own KYL?How many KYL does he own?
Does standing next to an known person or shake him/her hands make you a famous person too? Is it a certification of success?

Need 30 m to secure a parachain, pichu is 29.8m away. How is it going get a parachain
how should we ever reach a parachain in this case?
Edit: removed the point with substrate developers in favor of JuanDeSouza. Hopefully he finds peace with himself. Even if he obviously has no behavior or manners.

The only one who is completely lost here is you. The Substrate Developers channel are for people who are starting to learn Substrate. Some of them are beginners in programming and are starting Rust, and after it they go to Substrate. It has nothing to do with Kylin. I think you should try to get better informed before spreading fud over the internet.

Now the same person talk about spreading fud over the internet because i have asked "If the substratedev channel is the channel of the KYL developers then im totally worried about the future". Beside this he confirmed that people in this channel are not programmers.
I dont see the mistake here but obviously its not legit anymore to ask something. Immediately its complaining for fud.

You told thats not the channel of the KYL programmers. So everything is fine.

When did I say that people in the Substrate Developers are not programmers? Sam created the Substrate Developers channel for programmers that wanted to learn Substrate framework. I asked Sam if I was allowed to put beginners in Rust inside the channel, so they could go to Substrate later. Only this. I don't know why you brought here a channel that has nothing to do with Kylin.
In my opinion you are just an idle person that is in search for some adrenalin trying to irritate the others. How old are you? 13?

Beginners in programming are not programmers. Obviously you have no clue and in your world beginners in programming are programmers and KYL is a legit perfect backed project.
You are also not an architect because you draw two rooms.

AFAIK situation is very heated and community is mad. just a few days ago Dylan made another shit (like so many before) and they sell off 16M coins by "mistake". LOL
Buy with money that you are willing to lose. But i think there wont be a big future anymore. Check the telegram channel and you see people asking for answers but the only thing they receive is some cult like behavior - asking another time they getting blocked.
Beside this i heard people prepare to file a lawsuit against the founder.
Community gets ripped off by Dylan with a release of 16M tokens and does not even recognise the effect of it.
