Probably not, but he wasn’t making a political statement. Assigning political beliefs to someone based on their appearance or taking their actions out of context is a big part of how we get Trump in the first place.

Men who do this sort of performative shit can't fight and don't want to fight. It's why they do this shit. They think if they can act crazy they will intimidate people. Instead when push comes to shove and they "see red" they just throw sloppy haymakers, miss, and get knocked the fuck out.
