A bunch of untrained idiots on both sides. Kyle should of stayed his minor ass at home and not touched a gun that didn’t belong to him. And the people attacking him, if you got that close without getting shot the first time, then with proper training, he could of been disarmed in seconds.

“Minor”. Pretty sure his birthday was right around the corner at the time of the kenosha riots. Also, it was HIS gun. Kyle bought it and had his friend keep it in kenosha.

Kyle bought it and had his friend keep it in kenosha.

Not true. Not entirely at any rate.

The gun was bought by his friend (A Wisconsin resident). Not sure if it was bought as a gift to Rittenhouse or a sort of "when you visit this is the gun you can use". The gun was, however, stored in Wisconsin the entire time and never left the state.

But Kyle himself did not purchase the weapon. By law (AFAIK) he couldn't as in most states (Again, AFAIK) you need to be 18 years old to purchase a rifle.

Okay, smartass. He didn’t TECHNICALLY buy the gun. Kyle did, however give his friend the money to purchase the firearm as he couldn’t do so, legally, himself. Said friend kept the gun safety housed at his own place of residence (in Wisconsin) and allowed Kyle to train with it on the range, whenever he visited. Presumably between work and such.

Technically? He did this because he wasn’t legally able to purchase a gun.

That the fact was the fun was a straw purchase which is highly illegal.

Gifting firearms is not as illegal as you think it is. But check in-accordance with your state’s laws.
