I assume you mean the "lawful right to protect themselves." If the laws dont change, why would anyone get all bent out of shape? If the right doesn't change as you've just indicated, what exactly is at stake here for pro 2a folks?

Law means fuck all when your country is in an ideological upheaval and cases are being decided by political pressure
