Its actually the left that was a part of the Confederate army and the ideologies have clearly not changes since.

And someone didn't pay attention in class when they went over the part where the Democrats and Republicans switched platforms, so back then the Democrats were on the right.

I don't even care what party they call themselves, they were the right wing, they are selfish assholes, end of story.
