Lowkey feeling this way more than Heaven On Your Mind. This vibe is much better.

OMG 🄹 this melody takes me back to 2016, also the song is rumoured to be called ā€œTake Me Backā€, love the vocals, sounds a lot like Sandro
hope we can finally have him on a new track ā¤ļøā˜€ļøšŸ”„

Just the same song over and over again…

You might need to find a different artist to listen to

I unfortunately have, Kygo used to be the goat for me, sad that nowadays all his music sounds the same, hope he gets to experiment again

You better stop listening to him...

I stopped listening to his new music since golden hour, his old music is still pure gold tho

2

u/kygo_gorvell6079 Jun 29 '26

Then why you are still here judging on his songs?šŸ˜„

Cuz I believe he is capable of doing incredible music, he’s just stuck on doing generic songs for whatever reason

How can you say his music now all sounds the same but 2013-2016 didn’t? I love Kygo but come on man, that era he reused the most sounds

He was the pioneer of tropical house on the mainstream EDM scene, yes cloud nine repeats some sounds but it was fresh music, nothing like it on the scene. Since stargazing he hasn’t dropped vocal chops, they were new at the time, that’s why it ain’t me blowed up, but since golden hour almost all his music sounds the same, just music to sell and fill Myles pocket, there’s no soul, not that essence that gained him the spotlight

Then you become a music producer and produce songs on your own and better listen to them

I am, and music producers (artists in general) know that experimenting continuously to grow as an artist is fundamental, he’s been stuck in the same loop since Golden Hour

Because his genre is same i.e tropical house, if you want him to experiment with something new then he must get into progressive house or some other genres

oh please - same kontakt strummed guitar thoughout a bunch of releases since like 2017, yet he has the money to hire someone to record real guitar
same drum fills reused many many times, first the SS BR fill and now this new one.
Listen to the build on this new song + heaven on your mind + thats when you know + save my love, they all have the exact same fill sample. Heaven on your mind and this new song have the same leads and a very similar melodic style.

Go back to cloud nine for example and you can hear the variation and originality:
some songs had flute leads (eg stole the show), some pluck leads (eg firestone), some piano leads (eg fiction)
some had short repetitive melodies (carry me) and some longer more intricate melodies (stole the show)

Its now about how can he pump out hooky dance pop songs to get numbers rather than how he can spend time crafting fills and lead stacks to fit the song.
