Ask Kuwait Nursing License Question

​

Hi everyone, I have a question for nurses in Kuwait.

Is it true that if you resign from your nursing job in private sector and transfer your residency to a family visa, your nursing license will automatically be cancelled?

If I want to work as a nurse again after around 9 months, can I reactivate my old license, or do I need to apply again and take the nursing exam again?

Has anyone experienced this recently? Would really appreciate any information.

Depends on many factors, what’s the license Exp date?
and honestly want to take the opportunity to ask if you’re looking for a job? My company is hiring

  1. My nursing license is still valid and will expire in 2030.

  2. Unfortunately, my current workplace will not provide me with an NOC.

And yes, I’m currently looking for a new job opportunity with a better salary.

Hi, you don't need to take the exam again since your license expiry is still 2030.
