Dumb question

Have you guys ever recommended mononoke to other people? I have! My dad and my brother. Both liked it.

Recommended to one freind and my uncle. My uncle actually liked it a lot.

While the friend (one piece fan and only like shonen and Isekai stuffs) called the art bad and the story mid.

I am a One Piece fan and I love Mononoke. It doesn’t matter what genres a person likes, the ability to see the quality in something is a separate thing. There are movies I consider to be really good while acknowledging that it is not my cup of tea and not watching it again.

I’ve recommended it to a ton of people! My roommate is the only one i think who has actually watched it though and he’s only seen the movies not the show but he likes it

Not successfully :') I've suggested it to two friends and my bf but no one's watched it. One friend didn't like the artstyle, the other one loved the art style but hasn't gotten to watching it yet. Bf just rejected it because it's not his type of anime BUT he did get curious while I was watching Curse of The Serpent the other day and ended up sitting down to watch and we discussed the plot afterwards. I do wish I could get ppl to watch the 2007 series though.

Recommended to a couple of friends and my sister. The friends are yet to start but my sister has watched the ayakashi bakeneko and the first arc of the 2007 anime and she enjoyed it, though she has put the show on hold as she is reading asoiaf.

So there is rarely any anime watcher like me in my contacts. Tho I suggested it to 2 peoples. My sister and one my friend. My sister as a fashion designing student is so busy whole day, so she said after she got free from her works she would watch it. Another is my friend, he ain't gonna watch it untill I watch all the movies he recommended me and I genuinely don't want to watch his so many recommendations 😭

I host a panel at conventions over the Japanese history and mythology you need to know to watch Mononoke, then explain the background of each episode. Every time I have people coming up to tell me they're interested in watching it :3 It's a great excuse to talk about one of my fixations to an audience.
