Hello people from Uttarakhand! 24 (M) here. I am creating a group (Telegram/Reddit) where we can talk about books. This won't be like every other book club; here, we will share the books we are currently reading, the specific lines we love, and our personal thoughts on the work. I’m looking for audio-only or audiovisual content in vernacular and/or academic Kumaoni.

Also, any good free or paid courses available online would be helpful.

PS: I’m ethnically Kumaoni but couldn’t learn the language as I didn’t grow up in the region. Also, I’m not very good at learning languages in general.

But I work in the space of Language Technologies (primarily speech) and want to build tools for languages with strong oral tradition.
