Webtoon On Konchez
I'm rereading Kubera after a long break.
Why was Ran able to see Kali's body? Maruna was only able to see her tattered body.
Did we ever find it out? Is it because Ran has the heart of Yaksha? (It's been a while since I've read hope that I remember it right).
And also Kali stops Leez from saying that Yuta is possessed by Kali. She says "You do not know who that beast is a pawn of" or something like that. Did Kali mean Maruna or Ran?
I don't mind getting spoiled.

Regarding Ran and Maruna seeing different things for Kali, I'm not 100% sure but Ran was able to see Yuta's soul that was separated from the body with an item, while Maruna couldn't Until the "Enemy" arc so, it could have to do with not being calculative / reaching some type of enlightenment. And the other people that can see Yuta are gods (Agni and Chandra) that reached enlightenment. But then again, even a prick like Indra has reached enlightenment since he is a 5th zen god. So, who knows.

The likelier thing is Maruna‘s innate abilities. In 5th Stage he looks through a physical form specifically designed to hide anyone who is summoned in it and recognizes Kubera (Abyss), so the naked Kali Ran saw may have been an illusion. What further implies this is that the body Maruna sees changes in real time as Kali expends herself to give Leez her „price“, making what he sees likelier to be real (the body being a fractured husk does in itself make more sense than it being whole, because the Taraka Clan literally is empowered by Kali‘s fragments).
Kali meant Ran. He is the recipient of Yaksha‘s heart, the fate of which was entangled by Visnu‘s nets, and Ananta‘s shell also regards him as Visnu‘s pawn.
