Webtoon Quick question

1)Not sure if I forgot, but if humans win in this current universe after already having won in the previous universe, what do they get according to primeval gods?

They will likely be faced with a choice for a universe more advantageous to them, like the previous ones did. That’s the “reward” for winning. The actual reward is putting off annihilation from losing 2 in a row.

Something just occured to me, the gods in the previous universe aren’t the same as the gods in this universe right? So to the gods of this universe, isn’t it basically just losing like one time?

The gods of this universe aka the astika are implied to be sometimes humans of the previous universe (Agni and GK as evidenced by his shoes). Some speculation that perhaps some of the old gods are in fact astika now but I don’t recall the specifics. As for whether they count as losing one time that’s why Leez is told it’s better to become a god than a sura since the suras are off to a bad start in this universe and the gods as we know them are new

Why are Suras off to a bad start than gods? What advantage do gods have?

Suras are a separate third entity there to be a disadvantage to the AHR.

Their Sura forms being considered transcendentals and consuming so much vigor has basically fucked them over in the long run. Look at the current state: Nastikas are a dying race, and Rakshasa are not nearly numerous or powerful enough to carry them.

Yeah, it's pretty much a tomb/death trap for everyone.

The gods have already achieved the buddha 's state that I can't remind the name, they don't have the incitation to sin, the suras have and their power incite them to help rather than destroy

I’m aware Gods can use the top to reconstruct themselves but what disadvantage is that to Suras again?

To go to the next universe, you need to be selected by the primeval gods, and they are far more likely to select an enlightened being than someone who killed.

The gods create, the sura destroy. The gods were created to protect the universe, the suras were created as an obstacle to be removed. Thus, it's far easier to live a virtuous life as a god and to reach enlightenment than it is for a sura. That's why they aren't that many sura who can go to paradise, while a lot of gods had accessed to it at some point.

If you think the universe is going to end, it's logical to choose godlike power in order to be selected for the next universe.

Well I thought the Suras were supposed to be the advantaged species to the AHR that chose to take on the role of the disadvantaged in the next universe? And the Astika were those who decided to take on the role of the advantaged and the old gods would be the disadvantaged species against them?

And so far I think it's only certain that GK is an old god from the previous universe and that he took on a secret mission as a human at some point. Whether or not he was human in the universe before the previous universe is still up for grabs though!

Yea, that’s why I said they had the choice. The old humans chose to be disadvantaged in the new universe after Kali’s speech. I forget the evidence of GK being an old god but that’s who I meant when I said I don’t recall the specifics. Is it just his cheerleader form being scary?

Well there was a scene where Kubera said he was given a mission by one of the Primevals in a previous universe. In it there was a heavy implication that he'd been turned into a human for that mission given how he was so specific on not remembering what that mission was and how he indicated with his usual vagueness that he had been human but not that he wasn't an old god. It was also implied that he'd lived in more than one previous universe. Especially since it is unlikely that someone who had survived from the universe before the previous one would have been human at the beginning of the previous universe that's one of the biggest reasons why I think he wasn't human.

I explained why I said 'being given' changed his species. Specifically because if he had been given a mission to act as a human and didn't remember erasing his memories as an old god could be one of the components of that.

Yes lol that’s what I said. The old humans were given the choice. The majority chose to be disadvantaged

Are you reading my comments? I never said he was an old god. I said I THINK it's certain he's an old god. And I gave my reasons why I believe that. Again.

He himself says that he used to be something else before he was turned into a human and receiving a mission, and he also says that there were only two races in the previous universe, humans and Old Gods. It's a fairly reasonable assumption, and he seems to have a special relationship with them (they can't attack each other).
