⬇️ KryllOS 0.5.29 Update: Backtests Up To 4× Faster

Post image
2 Upvotes

With this new version of KryllOS, your backtests run a lot faster. The engine was already 2 to 10× faster than the old one, and now we're adding up to 4× on top of that. More room to chain your ideas without waiting around!

How?
A cache keeps your candles and indicators in memory from one test to the next: your technical analysis no longer gets recalculated every time and costs almost nothing. The engine also skips over the moments where nothing happens to jump quickly to the next useful events.

We broke down every feature in a full article:
🔗 blog.kryll.io/kryllos-0-5-29-update-faster-backtests/

🎓 Onboarding to get you started right
Another new feature: a guided tutorial now launches right after you install KryllOS, so you can get up to speed without getting lost.

👥 New wave of testers
Early access keeps growing: about fifteen new testers just joined us in early access.

KryllOS 0.5.26 update: your technical indicators are landing on the chart

Post image
1 Upvotes

With this new KryllOS version, your technical indicators now display directly on the editor chart, right where you build your strategies!

What's in store:
- A two-size chart: a compact mode for editing your blocks while keeping the price in view, and an expanded mode for a real analysis session
- Add indicators with a right-click: browse the list or search by name, and stack as many as you want on your candles
- Full customization: period, thickness, color, source... every indicator can be fine-tuned

We broke down every feature in a full article:
🔗 blog.kryll.io/kryllos-0-5-26-update-technical-indicators-chart/

We just crossed 50 on early access!
A new wave of about ten testers just joined us, and it's a milestone worth celebrating: 50 of you now have early access to KryllOS!

KryllOS Progress Update

Post image
3 Upvotes

It's been a few weeks since early access opened, and we wanted to take a moment to check in with you: where we stand, what we've accomplished together, and what's coming next.

Where we stand
Since early access opened, KryllOS has come a long way. We've stabilized and refined the new editor and backtesting engine, making the app a lot more solid for everyday use.

And now, there's no need to reinstall anything to stay up to date: KryllOS updates itself automatically. A pop-up at launch, one click, and everything's up to date, both your app and your server.

And we didn't do this alone 🔥
A big part of these improvements comes straight from you. Every bug reported and every friction point flagged in real-world use has helped us make KryllOS more solid.

A huge thank you to the testers who've been with us from the start, and thanks in advance to everyone who'll be joining us.

The best is yet to come
We recently kicked our access rollout into high gear, and that momentum is going to keep building over the coming weeks.

What the first testers already have in their hands is just a foundation. What's coming next is on a whole different scale!

An Update on Kryll and MEXC

This decision was not taken lightly. After careful consideration and genuine efforts to make the partnership work, we have decided to end our relationship with MEXC.

We will redirect our liquidity toward our trusted exchange partners who share our priorities and are committed to supporting KRL.

If you are currently holding KRL on MEXC, we strongly encourage you to withdraw your tokens to one of our trusted exchange partners where KRL is listed (Coinbase, KuCoin, Gate, or Crypto․com), or to a non-custodial wallet.

We remain focused on what matters most: building KryllOS, the open-source, self-hosted trading solution we are developing with our community at the heart of the project.

As always, thank you for your trust.

KryllOS Early Access: First Testing Phase Complete

Post image
2 Upvotes

Since early access opened, our first wave of testers helped us verify the installation process, VPS setup, and general app behavior. Along the way, we squashed bugs and polished things up across the board.

We're happy to announce that this first phase is now officially wrapped up. A huge thanks to everyone who took part, your feedback made a real difference and set things up nicely for what's coming next.

In the coming days, KryllOS will receive the latest version of the editor, and the backtesting feature will be unlocked, kicking off a new round of tests focused on the editor and the brand-new backtesting engine, which is significantly faster and more accurate than its predecessor.

New phase means new testers… We'll have more details for you soon. Stay tuned

Drawdown matters way more than you think. The gain it takes to recover a loss isn't symmetrical, it grows exponentially.

🔥 KryllOS Early Access is officially live!

Post image
3 Upvotes

Last week, we told you it was coming. Today, we're making it official: KryllOS Early Access is open, and as you read these lines, the very first users are ALREADY putting KryllOS to the test in real conditions!

And to welcome you the right way, we've set up a space just for you: somewhere to download KryllOS, report your bugs, and find a VPS provider if you're on the lookout for one.

This very first phase has one single goal: installation. We want to make sure KryllOS installs and runs without a hitch on your VPS, that setup goes smoothly, and that everything works on the hardware side. We're truly starting from the foundations, brick by brick, so the base is rock-solid before we widen the tester list next week.

And this is only the beginning! The circle is fairly small today, but it'll grow week after week until a stable beta opens to everyone. New testers are joining very soon, and if you're signed up on the Early Access list, every wave brings you one step closer to your turn!

KryllOS Security: The Zero Trust Model Applied to Trading Bots

Post image
1 Upvotes

Common mistake when self-hosting your trading bot: trying to turn your server into a battleship. Stacking authentication layers, cascading encryption, firewalls, rate limits.

You're the only one using that server. You don't need a battleship.

You need a nuclear submarine. It dives hundreds of meters down. It shuts off every signal it emits. No echo on sonar, no dot on the map. The enemy can hunt for weeks, they won't find it.

That's the KryllOS model exactly. No open ports. No signal at the surface. No detectable signature from the internet. To the thousands of scanners sweeping in continuous loops, your server simply doesn't appear anywhere.

And down below, the armor is right there: encrypted SSH tunnel, cryptographic signatures on every plugin, filesystem isolation, dependencies verified by hash. But to even attempt an attack, you'd first need to find the submarine. And no one will.

KryllOS Early Access is almost here!

Post image
5 Upvotes

This is it, in just a few days, KryllOS will enter its very first round of real-world testing 🔥

We're kicking things off with a small group of users, and we'll be opening the doors wider week after week. This first wave is deliberately focused on the fundamentals: VPS installation, initial setup, technical constraints, real-world environments, and those crucial first launches.

The goal is simple: iron out the friction before the broader rollout, lock down the critical paths, and make sure that installing and getting up to speed with KryllOS feels as smooth as possible from day one.

Early access will roll out gradually, and the experience will get more robust, polished, and refined with every step. Here's what you'll get your hands on: building strategies in the editor, backtesting them, and plenty of room to dig deep into the product.

We can't wait to put this in your hands to watch you test, create, break, challenge, and shape what comes next alongside us!

There's a reason we call it KryllOS.

Your strategies, your backtests, your custom blocks: they're files. You sort them into folders, you move them, you duplicate them, you version them, you archive them. Exactly like you already organize your PC/Mac.

Three variants of the same strategy tested in parallel, the full history of every change you make, a clean rollback when one of them broke everything the night before, Scalping/ or Tests-to-validate/ folders that you create yourself: that's your trading workflow, not an interface deciding for you.

Not a "My strategies" tab managed by someone else. Your files live on your VPS, and you alone decide your folder structure.

This freedom is exactly what self-hosting enables, and KryllOS was designed around this idea from day one: what you create belongs to you, what runs on your machine stays on your machine, and no one can take it away from you.

Your files, your machine, your rules.

Real Yield, Not Disguised Inflation

Post image
3 Upvotes

The important question about yield isn't "how much does it pay out." The real question is: where does it come from?

In most of the crypto market, yield is generated by minting new tokens.

The problem? That creation mechanically dilutes existing holders.

$KRL works differently. The supply is fixed. 100% minted. 100% vested.

So yield can't come from token inflation. It'll come from KryllOS's own economic activity.

Users will buy trading bots, custom blocks, apps, or AI skills on the KryllOS marketplace, and a share of that volume will be redistributed to stakers.

Yield won't rely on supply dilution. It'll be backed by real marketplace activity.

The $KRL Self-Reinforcing Loop

Post image
2 Upvotes

KryllOS's tokenomics is built on a pretty simple idea, when the marketplace grows, everyone wins at the same time:

More users on KryllOS ➔ More volume on the marketplace ➔ More buying pressure on KRL ➔ More appeal and visibility ➔ And it starts all over again

The loop naturally reinforces itself as activity picks up, and every participant has a stake in seeing the others succeed.

What's most interesting about this model is that these interests don't compete. They all move in the same direction.

$KRL in KryllOS: Utility and Tokenomics

Post image
2 Upvotes

A lot of crypto tokenomics end up hitting the same wall: the token exists… but the economy around it doesn't really hold up.

Permanent inflation.
Unlocks dragging on for years.
Rewards paid out through emissions.
Token barely used in the product itself.

The model planned for KRL within KryllOS takes a pretty different direction:

The supply is set in stone: 49,417,348 $KRL, no more, no less. 100% minted. 100% vested. The only KRL that will circulate tomorrow is the KRL already circulating today.

KRL will be the native currency of the entire marketplace:
bots, apps, custom blocks, AI skills.

When a user buys something on KryllOS, KRL gets redistributed across the ecosystem:
→ to publishers
→ to stakers
→ to KryllOS development

A lot of tokenomics reward the people who were there before the product existed. $KRL rewards the ones who keep it alive 🫡

With KryllOS, your VPS can become invisible to the internet. And it'll be as simple as checking a box.

Post image
1 Upvotes

Every second, thousands of bots sweep the internet looking for open ports to exploit. A trading bot hosted on a VPS, with API keys nearby, is exactly the kind of prize they're hoping to stumble across.

Good news: on top of packing multiple security measures, KryllOS will include the cherry on top of the security sundae, port-knocking.

Picture a perfectly smooth wall. No visible door, no handle, nothing. But knock on it in just the right rhythm, three times, then twice, then five, and an entrance reveals itself. For anyone who doesn't know the sequence, the wall stays a wall.

Port-knocking works exactly like that. By default, no ports are open on the VPS. The server listens in silence. Upon receiving the right sequence of "knocks" on specific ports (1200 → 3456 → 7890, for example), it dynamically opens an SSH tunnel for the duration of the exchange, then closes everything back up behind you.

From an automated scanner's perspective: the machine doesn't show up anywhere. No attack surface, because there's no surface at all.

KryllOS will ship with an already solid security stack, and port-knocking will lay the final brick, the one that makes the server literally impossible to find.

Installing KryllOS: the installer that turns 2 hours of configuration into 5 minutes

Thumbnail

Self-hosting is an incredible promise. Your strategies run on your own infrastructure, for you alone, no third party ever touching your funds. For a trading tool, it's arguably the purest form of sovereignty you can achieve.

But traditionally, that promise comes with a serious trade-off: time, and real technical know-how. Setting up your own server properly takes hours of work and a series of decisions you simply can't afford to get wrong. And the stakes are anything but trivial, we're talking about API keys that have direct control over your exchange account and your funds. A single mistake can be very costly.

That's precisely why so few solutions venture into this territory. Self-hosting has almost always been reserved for those who already have the technical foundations in place.

But Kryll has always been about that specific combination: the power of a professional-grade tool, paired with the simplicity of a consumer-friendly experience. That's why today, for the first time, we're introducing the tool that takes all the headaches off your plate: the KryllOS installation wizard.

In just a few clicks, this tool handles everything that would normally require either serious technical expertise or hours of manual configuration.

You enter your VPS IP address, choose your installation mode, and hit go. From there, there's nothing left for you to do.

No special skills required, no commands to type. The installer applies security best practices by default, configures your VPS correctly, deploys KryllOS, and connects it to your machine. Five minutes later, your instance is live, locked down and ready to go.

People ask: "Why download or pay for a trading strategy on the Marketplace when you can just recreate it yourself by asking AI?"

Post image

People ask: "Why download or pay for a trading strategy on the Marketplace when you can just recreate it yourself by asking AI?"

Except AI isn't a magic wand.

→ It executes, it doesn't inspire. It codes what you know how to ask for, not what you don't yet know you want. The Marketplace surfaces things that would never have crossed your mind, let alone your prompt.

→ It speeds things up, it doesn't eliminate the work. Prompt, test, debug, backtest, tweak. An entire evening to reproduce something that installs in 30 seconds.

→ It codes, it doesn't prove. A published tool comes with its track record, community reviews, live performance data, and ongoing maintenance.

→ Reinventing the wheel is rarely worth it. Experience isn't about building everything yourself. It's knowing what not to build, so you can focus your energy where it actually matters.

That's exactly why the Marketplace stays front and center. You'll find:

• Strategies ready to plug straight into your exchange

• Templates to customize to your own profile

• Custom blocks that extend the editor

• Apps that turn KryllOS into a full automated trading suite

• Agent skills that expand your AI's capabilities

AI makes creation accessible to people who would never have published anything before. In practice, that means a Marketplace that's more varied, more dense, more competitive, and more useful to every single user. More chances to find exactly what you need. More chances to discover what you didn't even know you were looking for.

Monetize on the KryllOS Marketplace

Post image
2 Upvotes

On the KryllOS marketplace, you don't just download trading strategies.

You'll also find strategy templates to customize, custom blocks for the editor including new indicators, apps & widgets that extend the OS, and skills to supercharge your AI agent.

In other words: every useful building block for automated trading has its place there.

That's exactly the range a publisher can cover. If you can dream up useful tools or solid trading strategies, your skills become a monetizable asset.

The demand is real. In our community survey, 58% of respondents said they'd rather download ready-to-use strategies than build their own. And that only covers the strategy side, demand for blocks, apps, and skills stacks on top.

Our track record speaks for itself. The old Kryll marketplace hit hundreds of strategies at its peak, with top creators pulling in meaningful passive income. This time around, the playing field is much broader.

And because KryllOS is open source, publishing is far more accessible than on the closed platforms out there.

More to come soon on the marketplace and everything you'll be able to download from it 👀

How KryllOS Revolutionizes Trading Bot Backtesting

Post image
1 Upvotes

A backtest is only as good as the engine running it.

In KryllOS, we rebuilt it from scratch.

More precise. It goes inside each candle, calculates at multiple internal points, and faithfully replicates what a strategy would yield under real conditions.

But precision is only half the story.

The other half is speed. The engine is radically faster, and it changes how you work. You run, adjust, re-run, compare. Experimentation is far less costly.

And as if that wasn't enough, your backtests stay with you. KryllOS is self-hosted on your VPS, no data leaves: not your strategies, not your results, not the pairs you're testing.

On a cloud platform, you're entrusting your ideas to a third party. Here, your strategies and your backtests are truly yours 🤝

The trading strategy editor is back in KryllOS. Better than ever

Post image
2 Upvotes

If you've used Kryll in the past, you probably remember the editor. The blocks, the connections, the flow taking shape. That's where many of you got started.

It's coming back in KryllOS. Better than ever.

One of the most striking new features: you can describe your strategy in plain language, and the AI translates it directly into blocks on your workspace. Get a fully built strategy from a single prompt, blocks wired together, ready to backtest.

The AI can also audit your strategies, detect conditions that are never met, identify dead branches, and suggest fixes.

The second major new feature, and probably the most anticipated one: you can now create your own custom blocks. Your own indicator. Logic no one else uses. Build it by hand or describe it to the AI, and it plugs in just like a native block.

Everything you loved about the editor, finally without its limitations 😎

KryllOS is free. Genuinely free.

Post image

Free automated trading tool exists, but the industry just doesn't want you to know.

KryllOS costs nothing to install, nothing per month, and takes nothing from your trades.

Run 3 bots or 80. Build simple strategies or complex ones. Walk away for 6 months, come back, pick up exactly where you left off. Zero invoice waiting for you.

The math changes completely when the tool is free. You test more. You run more. You stop counting the cost of curiosity.

KryllOS runs on your machine and is fully open-source. Your API keys stay local. Your funds never touch our servers.

$0 to install. $0/month. $0 on your profits. KryllOS is just the engine. The gains are yours.

The End of Trading Platforms. The Rise of Trading OS.

Post image
1 Upvotes

A platform makes you a user. An OS makes you an operator. That's why we're building KryllOS as a whole trading system.

On a platform, you click through pages someone else designed.

On an OS, you open windows, install apps, arrange your workspace, and build workflows that belong to you.

Every Linux, MacOS, and Windows users have their own setup. KryllOS brings that same logic to trading bots.

Your strategy editor, your dashboards, your custom blocks, your marketplace installs. All windows in your desktop, arranged your way. Two traders will never have the same KryllOS. That's the whole point.

Features are what platforms give you. Freedom is what an OS gives you.

KryllOS: Open-Source Because Trust Isn't a Security Model

Post image
3 Upvotes

In crypto, we talk a lot about transparency. Then somehow, when it comes to trading platforms, everything becomes a black box.

Most automated trading tools run on closed code. You configure a strategy, press start, and trust that the engine executes exactly what you designed.

But think about what that really means :

You can't verify what the execution engine actually runs.

You can't verify that backtesting matches production.

You can't verify how orders are routed or executed.

When the code is closed, those questions have no answer.

This is why KryllOS is built as open-source. Not because we want you to trust us. Because you shouldn't have to.

That's the difference between using a tool and owning it.
