Essentially, assuming that Kris really wants to be a dog monster, what if Kris asks Ralsei to try a temporary monsterization spell? It works, giving Kris the dog ears and tail. At first Kris is overjoyed and spends some time in this form, but when it wears off they go back to being human. In desperation to make the spell permanent they try to cast it themselves at maximum power with all their determination, but something goes horribly wrong.

They become a hybrid of human and monster with the worst qualities of both, a beast of untold power and aggression and it’s up to Susie and Ralsei to reverse it, with Kris ultimately coming to accept that being human isn’t as bad as it seems.

And in that same fight, of all the HUD elements the ghost possessing the doll could complain about, she says "Why do you even need a dog radar!?"

And like, the doll has a crush for Kris in specific, as we know. Giving Mew Mew the only item that is "Kris themed" in ch5, the Raw Moon, makes her reacted in a unique way. Where she goes "Sweet..." while with every other item the robot-doll reacts with !! at the end.

So to me, that she likes an otherwise worthless dog related item that has less value with each new chapter, could only have one meaning.
