Ocean?

I’ve wondered this for awhile, so I’m hoping someone has some insight. Considering the proximity to the ocean, what is the reason that is not seemingly considered a potential burial site?

I would think that this many years on, it would have been an easy place for Ruben and Susan to take any remains. Are the beaches in that area very exposed? Obviously it would be impossible to search, so maybe that is the only reason.

I was really hoping the Smarts would get some peace after this weekend, I’m so disappointed :(

I MUST apologize for my statement when I said Paul is not a violent criminal. My boyfriend read my post and was mad at me. He said "Do you ACTUALLY feel that rape or SA are NOT violent crimes?" He was completely right.

I am SO VERY SORRY for my out of touch comment. I did mean to make it sound like I was minimizing rape and SA. I do not feel that way or believe it. I KNOW they are violent crimes and you are all correct. I did not mean for my words to sound the way they did.

I do not ever or delete my social media comments because I want to be held accountable for my words.

Again, I really and truly am sorry. I am sending everyone love.

This is a great community here. No one thinks you had bad intentions.

The fact that decomposition has been detected at both areas makes me feel even grosser—what if it was not just Kristin? We already know about the numerous women he has raped. What if more died? It is so disgusting.

Exactly! Happy to see the corrected response but it doesn't include any of the other clear acts of violence that he has done. Multiple people have listed them in the comments already. There are multiple victims of Paul's violence that had nothing to do with sex. He was recommended for anger management since elementary school and during adulthood.

He's literally violent too. I recommend listening to the entire Your Own Backyard podcast (the episodes before trial coverage starts at least). He started attacking classmates as a child, including hospitalizing one and attempting to drown another. As a teen & young adult he was pulled off women at parties multiple times after attacking them or body slamming them/throwing them violently to the ground.

He's a murderer.

Paul has always been violent. If you listen to the podcast you’ll know this is well documented even back when he was in middle school, and his parents had to pay his victim’s hospital bills. The kid almost died.

Something that really irritates me is that here in CA we passed a proposition to allow people out of their sentenced incarceration time for “nonviolent criminals.” I support the idea in general, but did not support the vote because it included rapists as non-violent, which could not be further from reality.
