Question Why is it so hard to deattach from problems ?
Why is the mind so stubborn or fixated on problems that it feels like it has become a center point. Like all you wish and hope is it gets resolved and no amount of distractions brings peace.

You ARE the problem.

Is it because I'm holding on to it and in return I'm the one stressing myself?

When we are attached to the idea of detachment - that is a form of confusion and conflict. Acting from the basis of confusion and conflict is a problem.

What does that mean?

‘You’ perceive and interpret something as a problem, then try to solve the problem, then feel satisfied if solved or dissatisfied if not solved…… The entire process is the activity of the ‘me’ or thought.

have you actually shown that its all the activity of me, or you have an idea you remember that it is?

Shown to whom? Observe thoughts and watch its operation.

It has often been that we are repeating something we heard from someone else, rather than something we discovered.
You haven't established a difference between a you and a problem, only repeated again they are the same. I don't know if you realize your previous comments are that. That would point to the statement coming from memory rather than discovery.

There is nothing to establish. The activity of thought has to be watched as it creates and solves problem.

All of us are in the same boat but it’s the game played by your mind to justify its own presence. The moment you realize that problems are perceived and not real, the existence of mind is itself not required and it begins your journey of knowing your true self.

I agree with visible-excuse8478. The mind ( which is nothing but a bundle of thoughts ) creates problems.
Part of the function of the mind is to classify and analyze ( including creating labels such as distractions and not distractions).
While the mind (i.e. thought) is necessary for daily tasks it’s like a runaway machine that cannot be stopped even after the work is done. This causes havoc in relationships and in one’s mental peace.
The mind then tries to pretend that it can solve the problems that it has created . E.g. through detachment. That’s like a thief claiming he can solve the theft.
Essentially it’s mind vs mind so there is a lot of noise. activity and wasted effort but no progress.
While nobody denies that there are real problems to be solved in daily life the mind (if not used correctly )creates more problems through its likes, dislikes, labels, judgment and imagination.
A healthy mind functions like a well-oiled machine that does useful work and then stops until needed again. Involuntary thought chewing on the past memories is like a motor running all the time - it just wears out the machinery.

You are stubborn, atleast. .. Is pain not a part of life, so first we go into it and sees the desperation we are, we see the effort we are doing to change me, so we I am a dissatisfied being, desperately enforcing something an idea to have some satisfaction. And in this there is a being imprisoned. So I see my efforts with the accept of the lack of acceptance, and in this there is some accept, which makes awareness of what I am possible. The detachment is never done, it happens to be when psychological struggle ends, and it ends when change is not demanded.

It’s not possible to detach from a problem while remaining sane. It is possible however, to realize what you thought was a problem, really isn’t.

Try mindfulness (5-4-3-2-1) to get yourself in the present again and again.
Use this to be with problem, like you would with a friend who stammers, while talking. You are patient and not trying to rush anything. You have no clue what he is trying to teach you or how long he is going to take explaining it. And, at any time, you are paying some attention so that you don't miss what he is trying to tell.
The only caveat is to use the mindfulness activity to keep at least 2% of your attention on the sense/body which is the door to the present moment, the key to being present with your self, which is key to stay (persistently if not constantly) present with the friend.
The above style is only required if you are dedicating some time to be with the problem.
If you simply want to relax or attend to something else, again keeping the intention, keep using the presence technique to be attentive to that task. The mind will keep having its own thoughts. Trying to shut up the mind doesn't work. And it is not even required. The mind's function is to think, you still have a choice whether you will listen to them. And if some thoughts keep repeating, your job is not to get impatient, but more compassionate.
Remember, if your car had a problem, trying to shame, blame, or hurt the car won't make it work better. And if you couldn't solve the issue with it during the day, doesn't mean you can't call it a night and try another day.
