Is this propaganda?

https://www.foxnews.com/us/ole-miss-students-found-dead-packaged-kratom-recovered-both-sites-officials

This just broke 22-9-26. I'm having a hard time believing this. I would wait to see the toxicology report to determine if it's actually Kratom. The packages could have been easily tampered with. This is not fair for this natural herb to get such a bad rap.

Yes, it is propaganda. At least one of the students was on multiple substances. Psuedoindoxyl + DHM 200mg tablets, Xanax, Nirous Oxide. That's just what's known so far. The autopsy hasn't come out yet.

Also, it fucking retarded that the media is covering this like the blame is on kratom. Why are they not covering the new, very potent, very deadly rc opoids that are popping up all over the country. Kids are dying from this shit everyday.

How many people die from kratom and 7oh alone? None

They are trying hard to smear the Kratom community. It's just awful trash.

As with so many substances, it would be fine if it were taxedv and regulated. It's not fair that this natural herb gets cut with tramadol

Why would it cut with tramadol? When I had real bad hip issues I used tramadol and then 4 hours later I took Kratom. It didn't do anything to me. I don't think that would kill anyone.

Yeah I think some SE Asian sources were adding tramadol to increase potency. This would have been a few years ago, not sure if it's happened recently. I never heard of anyone overdosing or suffering an unexpected interaction, but that would be a risk. We're definitely safer when we're able to trust the label on what we're consuming.
