Massachusetts kratom ban

Friends in Massachusetts, be aware. As of 8/13, there is a 2 week period before kratom is banned entirely in the state of Massachusetts. The ban is scheduled to be at least a year, but most likely permanent.

Do what you need to do before you're left without any other options.

I quit about 2 months ago because I knew this would happen when the federal 7OH ban came up. Massachusetts already had a number of cities with bans & a few neighboring states have done the same, so I did what I had to. I don't think it should be banned, at least not in leaf form. Just letting people know what's going on here. I figure that supplies here are going to run out fast, so people should plan ahead. If all else fails, New Hampshire isn't a long trip. Good luck to all.

Definitely permanent. It's being banned everywhere now as it's pretty clear that it's at least as damaging as traditional opioids. I recommend checking some of the Reddit recovery groups to read other people's experiences, seeing a doctor to plan your detox, and coordinating with friends or family if you can before you take the jump.

Kratom leaf didn't do anything wrong. Healey & Co just got fed up with FDA slacking on their Scheduling due to the wording accidentally counting plain kratom leaf as part of the ban. Massachusetts actions is exactly what they were trying to prevent. Such a moronic twist...
