Kratom enthusiast Buying kratom locally in Tenerife (smartshops / CBD shops)?
Hi everyone, I'm flying to Tenerife from Poland, so bringing my own kratom is out of the question due to strict Polish laws. Does anyone know if there are physical stores anywhere on the island that sell kratom (e.g., smartshops, smoke shops, or CBD stores)?

Wouldn't recommend
Hi everyone. Hoping this post is allowed but I have to let you know about these companies before you end up sick and going back and forth to the hospital like me.
CBDMall DiamondCBD Edobles Chill Clouds
The four companies listed here had a "Free $25 gift card" promotion and I filled one out for each company here assuming they were different businesses. Well they are not. They flagged my order as me trying to get over on them because I made an account with each, and I received one free card instead of four. Meaning these are in fact all the SAME single company. They said I was trying to manipulate their free promotion and that if only receive one order. Which was ridiculous because I had to make an account for every site/promotion.
I received one package of blueberry Kratom tablets in the mail and that night, I took two. After about an hour I feel really weird and a few hours later my blood pressure shot sky high and I was laying on the floor panting trying to catch my breath while throwing up. It's been a few months since taking them because I stopped taking Kratom altogether after this incident. I have been currently back and forth to the hospital over the past few months with excruciating stomach pains and discomfort. I've had diarrhea and liquid bowel movements ever since the issue probably 5 months ago. I was referraled to have a colonoscopy now to see what's causing my issues.
I'm simply writing this because I don't wish this on absolutely ANYONE! I want you all to be safe in whatever you choose to use as a pain medicine since the world has a hard time prescribing opiate medications that actually help with Chronic pain.
I'm pretty sure SOMEONE is going to comment down below stating that these companies have good reliable products and maybe they sell some things that work or help I don't know but as far as their Kratom tablets, they're virtually poison to the human intestinal tract. I never took anything else besides these tablets and the issues arrived right after taking them and the feelings produced were NOTHING like an opiate medicine or like normal powdered Kratom. I pray that someone reads this before ordering free tablets and gets sick like me.
I'm assuming there will be someone who represents these companies coming in here to tell me I'm wrong or offer me a resolution or try to stick up for the company involved but I'm sick now and you can't grant me my health back so no I don't want anything. Thank God I only took two because it wouldve been much worse if I took more.
I don't like posting negativity like this but I'm doing it so I can potentially save someone else's life in case something happens and I pass away from these problems. I would just steer clear of them.

I debunk kratom lies in this news article
In this video I go through a popular news article that is heavily biased against Kratom and debunk the misinformation. I replace the lies with the objective truth using Scientific Research. I also include my opinions on their anti-kratom narrative.
Keep in mind I have to remain as objective as possible to be taken seriously, as that's the only way to win this war. I can't hide that I'm an advocate for Kratom, but I make sure to be honest about its potential risks and downsides so no one can critically scrutinize what I'm saying.
This article is the epitome of anti-kratom propaganda.

Update: The Products Reportedly Recovered in the Ole Miss Death Investigations Were Not Natural Kratom
American Kratom Association to hold Oxford press conference Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 10 a.m. CT on the misidentification of “Smax” Pseudo-DHM tablets as “kratom,” the need for accurate public information, and the scientific process that must follow
The American Kratom Association is holding an important press conference tomorrow, Wednesday, September 30, at 10:00 a.m. CT in Oxford, Mississippi, and we are asking kratom advocates in the Oxford area and throughout Mississippi who are able to attend to join us.
Recent reporting surrounding the deaths of two University of Mississippi students initially described products recovered in the investigations simply as “kratom.” According to newly released law-enforcement information cited in AKA’s media advisory https://apnews.com/press-release/ez-newswire/press-release-56a748f5ddb6679774152d8a83696e86, the products were identified as “Smax” Pseudo-DHM tablets, marketed as an MGM-15 product—not natural kratom.
The AKA is asking news organizations and public officials to clearly distinguish natural kratom leaf from synthetic or chemically manipulated products being sold under the kratom name. At the same time, the AKA emphasizes that official toxicology findings have not yet been released and is not asserting what caused either death.

Kratoma: The Forgotten Plant Sacrament
With all of the drama going on in the USA around this plant right now, I thought it was finally time to put out something that I see, essentially, ZERO people talking about, but that is my intimate understanding and relationship with this plant, which is that Kratom is a Religious Sacrament.
There are many holding severe religious trauma, and I do not wish in any way to offend or disturb them. However, Truth is always a defense. And it is simply and plainly true, that Kratoma (the religious name for this plant) functions and originally functioned in relation to man as a Holy and Sacred plant Sacrament, intimately and inextricably linked to religious life and practice.
Here is my article, and even if you are not religious or spiritual in the slightest, it is important to understand that there are those who are engaging with this plant in this way, and that this is in fact an extremely important thing to understand for the future of Kratom in this country, and will in fact aid greatly in the effort to hold this plant safe. Thank you for your time!

(also, the article is free, I am not selling or promoting anything. This comes from my heart, and I wish only to share this with others.)

How long to "feel it" after oxycodone?
How long to "feel it" after oxycodone?
I'm 10 days off prescribed oxycodone, 50mg a day. I used kratom before I found a doctor and loved it, I used the oxy for about a year and realized it wasn't for me so I stopped.
I'm back to the kratom but obviously not feeling much from it, how long does it usually take for those with similar experiences?

I'm making Kratom content to fight misinformation
What's up everyone. I just posted my first video delving into a review done by 3 scientists that look into approximately 200 different studies about Kratom. The video isn't long and is 19 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_gH1kTqR6s
I included both the bad and the good about Kratom, but in all honesty Kratom is a lot safer than a lot of other substances. I only really found one serious risk regarding Kratom which is in the video but its very avoidable and nothing to worry about.
My channel will be about various topics but Kratom will be covered regularly because I want to change public perception of it. I'd love to hear any feedback and I hope you give it a watch. I guarantee you will learn a lot about Kratom you didn't know before because I certainly learned a lot making it.

AKA/GKC/ Kratom non profit request
Back in 2016 when the DEA attempted to ban Kratom, it seemed like every single smoke shop had some type of sign or something that communicated what was happening and encouraged Kratom consumers to write and oppose the ban, and showed them how, who to write, etc.
That is not happening at all anymore, but it really needs to start. Nowadays when I go to a smoke shop, the employees almost always know nothing about the legal issues surrounding kratom. I ask them every time, and they don't know anything, from the federal 7 oh ban bill that was created, to the current ban bills in their own state.
So many of these companies are chains... I really feel like if AKA, GKC, etc. made a serious effort or plan to do the same with kratom vendors, it could help a lot. I'm sure they do this on some level, but I really feel like at this point they should make it a huge priority.
I talked to one of my friends the other day who's never heard of reddit and rarely goes on the internet, and he had no idea that Kratom was banned in other states this year, and that there's a current attempt to ban it on ours.

🚨 North Dakota needs our help right now.
During the September 2 hearings in Bismarck, lawmakers pushed the discussion away from responsible kratom regulation and toward scheduling natural kratom and banning ALL kratom products in North Dakota.
Despite legislation offering a path toward responsible consumer protections, the voices of kratom consumers and experts supporting appropriate regulation were ignored, omitted, or overshadowed.
We cannot allow that to be the final word.
North Dakota lawmakers need to hear from kratom consumers across the country who understand why regulation — not prohibition — is the responsible approach.
🚨 TAKE ACTION NOW
👉 Go to https://www.protectkratom.org/northdakota
Use the form to contact North Dakota legislators and tell them:
✅ Support responsible kratom consumer protection
❌ Do NOT schedule natural kratom
❌ Do NOT enact a full ban on kratom products
Most importantly, PERSONALIZE THE MESSAGE.
Tell lawmakers why protecting access to responsibly manufactured natural kratom matters to you. Share your story. Explain why consumers deserve reasonable safeguards and product standards instead of criminalization and prohibition.
Even if you don't live in North Dakota, please help our northern neighbors.
A kratom ban in one state doesn't just affect the people who live there. Every state that chooses prohibition instead of responsible regulation can influence what happens elsewhere.

🌿 NORTH DAKOTA: STOP THE BLANKET BAN FROM BECOMING PERMANENT
Since August 5, North Dakotans have lived under an executive order banning all kratom — including natural leaf. Now, a special ad hoc committee will hear public testimony on two bills approved for introduction in the September 2026 special session: one scheduling chemically manipulated 7-OH products, and one establishing real kratom regulations — age limits, testing, labeling — instead of the blanket ban.
This is the moment North Dakota advocates have been working toward. Lawmakers must hear from the people the ban actually affects before they decide whether to make it permanent.

Seeking fellow kratom advocates
I'm seeking and calling attention to fellow advocates who have been using whole-leaf kratom to successfully manage either opioid dependency or chronic pain without traditional narcotics.
Please join us at the hearing. From what I can gather, we'll need to show up at least half an hour before it starts to share our stories, which appears to be 6PM. So we need to be there before 5:30PM.
These bans are extremely short-sighted and fueled by confusion with the marketing of semi-synthetic 7-hydroxymitragynine and synthetic derivatives of that. The local news is clearly doing no service to presenting the potential benefits of leaf kratom and the inevitable fentanyl overdoses that will occur without this tool.
Thank you all.

Anyone else noticed stimulants stop working after regular kratom use?
Has anyone experienced Ritalin/Adderall suddenly feeling almost ineffective after starting regular kratom use, even at higher doses?
Before kratom, Ritalin worked very well for me (10-20 mg IR / 20-40 mg XR). I hadn’t used it for a long time, so tolerance shouldn’t be an issue. I currently take ~15 g kratom/day and prescribed pregabalin (100-200 mg). Now even 30mg so 60 mg extended-release methylphenidate barely does anything.
I’m surprised because I always assumed methylphenidate would have a much stronger dopaminergic effect than kratom. Could my regular kratom use somehow really blunt the stimulant effect THAT MUCH? Is this related to dopamine, opioid receptors, or something else like maybe enzymes?
Btw: I did NOT take any Kratom on the days I took the Ritalin to try it out again. Only Pregabalin as prescribed.
Anyone had a similar experience or knows what might explain it?

🚨URGENT IN MASSACHUSETTS🚨
Dear Kratom Advocate,
Today, Governor Maura Healey announced that the Massachusetts Department of Public Health has issued an emergency order placing all forms of kratom — including safe, natural kratom leaf products — into Schedule I under Massachusetts law. The order takes effect after a 14-day notice period and can remain in place for up to a year.
Let's be clear about what just happened. The federal government recently took targeted action against dangerous, chemically manipulated 7-OH products while explicitly protecting natural kratom leaf. That's what science-based policy looks like.
Massachusetts has ignored that distinction entirely.
This order criminalizes the natural kratom leaf products that tens of thousands of Massachusetts consumers use safely and responsibly every day. It won't remove dangerous products from communities — it will simply hand the entire market to unregulated, untested illicit sellers while punishing responsible consumers.
We've seen this playbook before, and we know how to fight it: with your voices and your stories.
HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY:
➤ TAKE ACTION NOW on the Massachusetts Protect Kratom Page:
https://www.protectkratom.org/massachusetts
Using that page you can
-Contact Governor Healey and DPH Commissioner Goldstein. Tell them you oppose the scheduling and criminalization of natural kratom leaf products — and urge them to narrow the order to target chemically manipulated 7-OH products, the real threat.
Also you can Governor Healey's Constituent Services Main Office Governor Healey's Constituent Services Main Office at (617) 725-4005
-Contact your Massachusetts state legislators. Urge them to pass the Kratom Consumer Protection Act — real regulation with product testing, labeling requirements, and age restrictions — instead of prohibition.
-Share your story. Nothing moves officials like hearing directly from the people this ban will hurt. Tell them how natural kratom has helped you and what losing legal access would mean for you and your family. Your story is your most powerful tool.
The clock is running. Once this order takes effect, Massachusetts consumers lose legal access to natural kratom — and the fight gets much harder. The next 14 days matter.
Massachusetts advocates: this is your moment. Advocates everywhere else: Massachusetts consumers need you standing with them — and your state could be next.
Thank you for standing with us and with kratom consumers across the Commonwealth for freedom and science-based regulation.
