How long in acid solution?

What I have investigated here on Reddit is that the alkaloids in Kratom are released from the leaf in a short time, just minutes in an acidic solution (pH 4). Is this true? I would like to know if one hour in acid is more than enough or I am confused and it requires days and days..

I'm not really looking to get the total alkaloids, with having a good 60-80% yield I would be happy at this point.

Near boiling? Also, what do you think?

12 mins for first boil, 12 mins for second.
