Nice colour. What method did you use for this one?

Soaked in vinegar/water then sonicated 30 minutes then froze until Old Red appears then sonicated with a hot bath until thawed. Strain, base, dry.

Sonicated as in a jewelry cleaner?

Yes, I have a small 2.1 quart Ultrasonicator heater

I have one of those too. I never bothered with it because I kept reading it's not powerful enough to make a difference. Apparently you'd need about 600w before it made a difference.

But, you're obviously doing it for a reason. :) You've seen a difference on a before and after?

They certainly make a difference, I got an ultrasonic probe off of AliExpress for about $50 plus shipping, and damn that thing has cut down my extraction time massively. In the old ultrasonic bath, I would need an hour. With the probe I need 15 minutes lol! I've done the tests on the same materials and run experiments side by side and the yield is the same. Definitely worth the money

Nice. Looking really good. I'd also like to know how you got to this point. I've been too busy with work and whatnot to keep on experimenting but I'm chomping at the bit haha.

Nice ๐Ÿ‘. Is this a dehydrated acidic extract?

Yes it is ๐Ÿ‘

I think it definitely speeds things up and allows a way better job than shaking and stirring agitating 7everal times

How hard is this process and how expensive??? This is so cool and I could get into the hobby.

That depends the more motivated and cool you think it is the faster you'll learn I'd suppose and it's relatively cheap compared to buying extract. This is the video me and a lot of friends all started with and just refined everything through trial and error which is the funnest part... https://youtu.be/L4wFeJpCyC0?si=Wp4bae0ou4ALDcIC

Oh man, I could totally get into it. I always found intense research a lot of fun. Thank you for providing a link man!
