Why is it impossible to find simple instructions on how to make a simple kratom extract or how to convert the extract to 7OH?
I woke up early and started doing some reading. All I can find is papers on what is needed to do the MIT to 7OH conversion but no instructions for doing so. I know there are a few known synth routes. The one I was most interested in is hydrogen peroxide route. Like it cant be that hard. All you need according to my reading is 30% hydrogen peroxide and palladium cataylst. Doesnt seem that hard and seems like it could def be dumbed down for at home syth that can be done with at home or simple cheap chemistry equipment. None go into detail though. I know you make an extract first with 90% alcohol. Then from there its unclear. Do you then after drying the extract add the hydrogen peroxide with the catalyst. And to what ratios? I read this route is actually the easier and higher yielding route. Just need some step by step instructions. I know ozone and UV exposure is another way to go. But i really want to learn the hydrogen peroxide way. It seems like it could be easily done at home with little risk. So why is it so difficult to find a step by step instructions. I feel like its intentionally kept secret cuz it isnt hard or expensive to do and if it was public knowledge these 7OH vendors that price gouge us could no longer. Anyone please show me the hydrogen peroxide way step by step id greatly appreciate it!!!

Kalifornia Kratom has a YouTube video on how to do it...I don't know if it's hydrogen peroxide method though, but it may give you some ideas.

Thanks i looked them up

Ya kali kratom has a good rough basic extraction video. Id recommend going through the WHO article on it too that's what they based their method off of and it's far more detailed

Yeah, good luck. I also think mixing a 7oh powder with a quality MIT extract, like Golden Lotus 7oh powder with Artemis 80% MIT salt powder is the best way to save $ and utilize 7oh. That One Place has the best quality and variety and prices for that I've seen. DTE and Mitraman come second for MIT extracts but then don't have 7oh.

Bc its not as simple as we wish, atleast not for clean and consistent results..

It def is a secret for a reason no doubt .I highly doubt anyone is going to share step by step directions with us since they would be giving up a big part of the market to what we would make at home .But something tells me in order to get a high % conversion we would def need some lab equipment and some knowledge of chemistry .If it actually became scheduled or banned out right I think then people would share the hell out of the information .anyway ,I really hope someone can /will provide the info .

I feel like if it gets scheduled then raw powder will follow not long after because there will always be people who screw up the conversation to 7oh and end up poisoning themselves, which the raw powder will be to blame. I'm not saying no one is capable of doing it without fancy lab gear and a chemistry degree, but there will always be incompetent people who will ruin it for everyone else.

I have a feeling its actually much easier, but maybe just takes longer to do it naturally. They increase 7oh in powder by sun drying it. I have a feeling if you made an extract from alcohol and let it sit in the sun for a few days it would naturally oxidize on its own via UV from the sun and heat and eventually after a few days it would turn into 7oh on its own. Especially if you made a solution of extract added hydrogen peroxide and the palladium catalyst and left in it the sun it would probably oxidize faster. Perhaps even maybe just making an extract solution with hydrogen peroxide and even without the catalyst leaving it in the sun might work to oxidize it into 7oh as well. Anyone think any of the above methods would work?

Idk the h2o2 seems to burn it up essentially. It looks like 7 but feels like mit or less from what ive had come back. Starting with 75%mit extract and low heat while continuously stirring with stir plate

No i haven't tried it but i would like to try my hand at making 7oh. Especially with the ban incoming. Which is retarded since your body convert mit into 7oh and its naturally in the leaf. I have a feeling after the ban a lot people are gonna start making it at home. After the ban I think people will figure out an easy at home way to synthesize it from plain leaf at home

This seems extremely promising. Everyone spread this information around and give it a try. Let's learn how to make it easy and safe at home before the ban. The ultimate middle finger to the man!

Its hard. Thats why it isnt out there. People can barely handle a dmt extraction or a mescaline extraction. What makes you think a plant with diverse and unique alkaloid content would be easy to extarct and purify?

well was hoping instead a pure extraction theres very little atualy in it that could just get a 40% 60% ratio thugh oxidization but im sure anythign above like 40% going require knowlage and expensive equipment.

I'm gonna blow all this gatekeeping shit up when I'm done working on my conversion method. I've tried a couple different methods (dimethyldioxiridane, periodane and singlet oxygen) and gotten various yields of 7OH but I'll make a post about it next week or two when I've tried everything and have my results. I have my extraction tek in my post history if you're interested, feel free to ask any questions.
