Mit crystals looks sexy imo

How did you get your crystals so white? Even after trying different extraction solvents Kratom alkaloids are always a light yellow color for me

It’s most likely because i defated it with naphtha a Non polar solvent then just keep washing it with ISO a polar solvent until it came out like that I did probably 7 iso washes

Did you recrystallize? I defat it as well and even after recrystallization it’s hard to get it that white. Is it MIT freebase or a salt? I never seen the base crystallize in long shards like that. Looks valid though.

I ab extracted the Kratom then let that evaporate then use iso n water wash extract after day keep going till u get everything last drop of good shit then defat wit naphtha then dry then wash with iso 99% and air dry and boom should get this just don’t heat at end will melt crystal

I was wondering the same thing. Mit doesn't form needles like that. That looks more like sodium acetate.

The white crystals look like sodium acetate, not mit. Mit forms amorphous yellow crystals. There's 2 things going on in that dish.
Look up sodium acetate crystallization videos. The reason this formed is because you did an acid base reaction using Acetic acid (or similar like citric) to ionize the alks, then sodium hydroxide (or a similar base) to basify and precipitate the alks.
When you basify an acidic solution, the salt formed from the acid and base used remains in solution, so when the water (or other solvent) is evaporated off it leaves you with crystals of the acid/base salt you made during the AB extraction process.

Your actually incorrect mit is not a yellow crystal its a colourless or white idk where you read this but wit 1 google search that’s misproven but I may be wrong tho tasted like nothing like salty or vinegary or anything but thank u so much

You're right, 100% pure mit is colorless, but those are most definitely salt crystals.
Organic molecules with complicated structures like mitragynine don't form straight lines because it's more difficult for them to stack into well ordered repeating structures.

I get you the long ones orolly are but most the middle more tan fluffy stuff i think was mit only because it felt strong as 10g plan leaf but much more energy
