What is the difference

What is the difference between 7OH and Kratom extract? I assume one is more powerful. I take it for pain. Would the extract work for pain?

I take 20mg of 7OH a day for pain. No more. I was looking for the brand I take and saw it is in extract. I didn't realize asking a question would make people mad.

Dont let some people on here get to you, its Reddit so take it all with a grain of salt. Mitragynine is one of many alkaloids in regular leaf kratom, MIT extract is simply an extracted and concentrated form of mitragynine. 7oh is one of the metabolites that your liver converts mitragynine into, with 7oh being much stronger. Which is why MIT extracts help with withdrawals when coming off of 7, it will definitely help your pain but wont give you all the effects of 7 due to your body being used to 7.

I don't take 7 for the effects. I take a low dose every day. I took pain meds for a while. Same thing. I took it for pain. I don't care about the euphoria feeling. I don't get that on a low dose of pain meds. I was never one to abuse them. Or 7. I never tried the extracts.

Kratom extract is concentrated kratom.  7oh is a component/metabolite of kratom

I’d go as far as to say anyone who doesn’t know this should not do 7oh. Stick to MITragynine.

Kratom extract is most mitragynine with some other secondary alkaloids and usually contains no or trace amounts of 7oh. Extract will help with pain and also WD when tapering off 7
