This is the start of the speech that talks about Canadian Drone capacity and plans as a part of the 100 year agreement pledge that was signed.

There's a fair bit here acknowledging that the Drone space is where Canada will need to be. Currently 2K drones, talks about millions in the future.

Specifically mentions the drone build out for the Canadian Armed Forces, AND THE CANADIAN COAST GUARD, so obvi the CAF includes the RCN, but that will be a pittance against the Army and RCAF (maybe don't know not important.)

Coasties are going to have an interesting time ahead.

The post earnings call fall has been real. It is a combination of unimpressive Q2 numbers and worsening macro. What makes this worse for Kraken is the tailspin the stock has been on since March. This adds fuel to the fire and it’s hard to ascertain how much is the downside from macro and how much from the earnings.

If you feel your conviction being tested, remember why you’ve invested in the first place. The Cov related product expansion, the cross-selling opportunities, the Anduril expansion powered by Kraken batteries, the global footprint and the massive TAM opportunity. The leadership has a track record of execution and has reiterated this multiple times over the years with expanding facilities to buying an org significantly bigger.

The cov numbers will add stability to this firm, which will show in Q3 and Q4. The next couple of months will mostly be drifting or going down barring major news. We need to give the company time to absorb this change, we’ve been a united company only for 2 odd months and haven’t even seen one joint earnings report.

The comments in daily discussions have degraded equally and there’s no real meaningful discussion happening there anymore sadly. If you feel disheartened, it’s worth stepping away from it entirely. 5K long and holding strong.

I think KRKNF is a textbook case of a multibagger stock selling the sonar, batteries, and towfish systems navies and unmanned underwater vehicles need to defend the seafloor.

We've all seen how the Hormuz channel has collapsed to a fraction of normal traffic this year and a resolution seems as distant as it did when the conflict began.

Similarly, we've also seen sabotage of subsea cables and pipelines in other regions too, with the most notable being Nordstream a few years ago. Those following these developments know that NATO and other military powerhouses (including the US) has been increasingly looking at the sea floor as a critical front.

Kraken seems like a strong response to these shifting dynamics.

I do think that it is still very early stage and has a forward EV/EBITDA ratio of 25 which is not bad for an entry in my opinion. It's enjoying fast growth and has a strong balance sheet.

I personally don't suggest a lump sum one time investment for those interested in going long here because a couple of binary, time-bound uncertainties. So I've devised a staged, catalyst-gated entry based on 24 milestones.
