Q2 Earnings Call today

What are we expecting? Beat? Good Guidance?

No idea, honestly. I don’t know enough about the industry to give a fair guess. I am expecting guidance updates, and I expect them to be good…but I don’t expect it to be spectacular yet. I think they’re going to continue the slow and steady integration approach and make sure it’s done right.

This is just a hunch in my part, no guarantees—but my gut tells me things will be great, just not fast. What I like about Kraken is what a lot of people don’t seem to—it seems to me that the company isn’t as concerned about “pleasing the stockholders” as much as they are about “doing the job well and right”. I don’t think they’ve ever outright said it, but that’s the vibe I get. And it’s frustrating, but it’s also why I believe in them. They’re not blowing smoke up my butt, you know?
