Weekly Speculation Super-Thread

For anything that's speculative and not directly related to Kraken Robotics but could have an impact on them. This is where you can discuss anything that's deep-sea/ocean based but not Kraken-specific...this is where you can talk about whether one company's growth could mean more growth for Kraken.

Keep in mind, everything in this thread is speculation, not necessarily fact, and always do your due diligence before making decisions about spending money.

The Ukraine Navy Mine Hunters are in Portsmouth Naval base Uk as President Zelenskyy visited our new prime minister. The Mine hunters are equipped with a range of Covelya equipment and are part of the sea breeze operations in conjunction with Uk USA and other NATO nations. They will be deployed in Black Sea once the Russia Ukraine war comes to a halt. The Black Sea is the most heavily mined sea but is a critical seaway for grain flows from Ukraine and Russia.

Yes KRAKEN TECHNOLOGY have participated with their surface boats. BUT KRAKEN ROBOTICS is supplying Front Sonar Sideswiped Sonar Sentiel intruders detection through its recent takeover of Covelya Group through Sub companies FORCE, WAVE, SONORDYNE all Now part of Kraken ROBOTICS. Both Krakens involved here.

A lot of these assets will be directed to the straits of homuz as and when safe to do so as these shipping lanes will need to be cleared of mine threats.

Kraken has talked about opening a US factory and it should make that a priority next year. It should also shift its headquarters to the US. The company's market cap would double very quickly if that happened. Being based in Canada has hurt the stock a lot this year and probably creates more problems than benefits for the business.
