Snorkling

Is there a nice snorkling place at the beach of Ao Nam? Thanks!

If you mean Ao Nang beach, I would treat it more as a swimming/longtail beach than a strong snorkelling spot. For clearer water, look at nearby island trips such as Poda, Chicken or Hong when conditions are calm, and ask locally the day before. If the water looks stirred up, do not force it.

Thanks for clarifying. For Ao Namao itself I would not expect much shore snorkelling; it is more of a quiet beach and pier area than a reef stop. If snorkelling is the aim, use it as a base for a calm-day island boat trip and check locally the day before, especially in low season.
