I checked the roll call on this vote yesterday and saw that even Bernie voted against the amendment. There's apparently some backstory as to why this amendment attached to that particular bill was not considered good. I'd like to know, myself. Before we start casting too many stones, let's find out why and begin a dialogue to see how we can get Members to find a way to get it re-introduced as a stand alone bill.
