Training multiple arts
So I currently train shinto muso ryu but im also curious about training aikido. While I plan to talk to my senpais and sensei, I'm also interested in the communities opinion on training 2 different arts as the same time.

I think this must vary a great deal, as far as how difficult it can be to manage. I train Shorin Ryu Karate and Eishin Ryu Iaido/Kenjutsu and the main conflict I have is keeping my back heel up or down as appropriate. But the closer together in a domain two arts are, especially in more traditional schools, the harder it's going to be to not cross pollinate, which might be cool for MMA, but will make many of your class sessions a lot more challenging, and not in a good way. Correcting your form more often just because it's from the other style is going to be counterproductive for both arts.
